This role is responsible for overseeing the installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of electrical fixtures and control equipment from a PLC standpoint to ensure that equipment and wiring are to code and optimal levels of quality and safety are met; the Manufacturing Electrical Controls Technician - PLC is responsible for making changes to, maintaining, and upgrading the automated PLC programs at the Fairfield plant. In addition, the Manufacturing Electrical Controls Technician - PLC maintains clean & safe work environment as well as maintains professional working relationships with co-workers. Responsibilities Troubleshooting and modifying ladder logic programs on Siemens and Allen Bradly PLCs; troubleshooting of various VFDs / Motor Controls / Hardwire relay logic electrical processes.
