Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients in the emergency services area in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.

Education:

To support these goals, Client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) to join our team. In this position, you will work closely with the WHS site manager, WHS specialist, and occasionally the Injury Prevention Specialist (IPS). This includes attending weekly associate safety committee meetings, greeting all new hires for the site or through daily one-on-one interaction. Additionally, the OMR will participate in weekly case management review meetings as necessary.
As an OMR, you will independently assess and administer first aid as well as offer guidance to Client Associates (AAs) on both occupational and non-occupational injuries or illnesses. You should be passionate about learning and advocating health and wellness principles to consistently support AAs on a daily basis. You will refer care to outside medical providers as needed, and learn about OSHA regulations, risk, and analysis.
The OMR will function as a part of the larger team onsite, assisting with all first aid needs and support safety operations as needed.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide first aid support and make referrals to outside medical providers as necessary.
Minimize the AA risk of injury through awareness, education, and proactive engagement.
Maintain all records of care provided to AAs.
Coordinate and maintain the workers' compensation and return to work programs for AAs with work-related injuries.
Provide daily activity logs and end of shift reports.
Engage with AAs and leadership on operations floor to provide coaching regarding observed at-risk work habits.
Maintain a clean working environment and ensure appropriate medical supply inventory is maintained.

Obtain, then maintain all licensures and training required by the State of Wisconsin for this position
Demonstrate the ability to operate company vehicles safely, exhibiting knowledge of proper driving procedures and response tactics

Education/Training/Experience
Minimum of either a high school diploma or GED
Current/valid State of Wisconsin Paramedic license
Current/valid American Heart Association CPR card or similar curriculum certification
Current/Valid Drivers License
NREMT license desirable but not required
Critical Care accreditation highly desirable

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Respond to and provide work related injury/illness assessment and treatment within license scope of practice and according to standard operating procedures and protocols.
Ensure that clients receive a positive experience with Medcor s services, leading to high client satisfaction and long-term retention.
Apply knowledge of clinical occupational health as well as knowledge of regulations impacting the work environment (OSHA, HIPAA, ADA). Stay current with healthcare industry regulations and standards to ensure the organization remains in compliance.
Collaborate and work with cross-functional partners, including onsite client department managers, human resources, environmental health & safety, and security to ensure the integration and coordination of services are consistent with standardized operations, Medcor patient care guidelines and client policies and procedures.
Attend scheduled and periodic meetings, training and other job-related events as required by PAS.
Responsibilities include collaborative work with the medical and operational leadership at Medcor, local medical providers, client staff, with key contacts within the client s corporate structure.
Facilitate and manage workers compensation cases in conjunction with third party administrator. Evaluate, administer, and monitor both occupational and non-occupational transitional duties and return work programs.
Required Job Qualifications:
High school Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Valid License or Certification as EMT, Paramedic or LPN
1-2 years of clinical experience in current field.
Desired Job Qualifications:
CPR, PALS, ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
Previous experience in an occupational healthcare environment.
Knowledge of health and safety concepts and protocols.
Experience working with Health/Medical Records including Electronic Medical Records (EMR's).
Knowledge for Workers' Compensation , Safety Event reporting and health and safety concepts and protocols.
1 year of Field Experience as EMT or Paramedic working independently and providing confident care to patient.
Ability to use strong communication skills as well as critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills.
Physical Requirement/Working Conditions:
Frequent walks around the facility, lasting for up to 1-2 hours for the duration of a scheduled work shift.
The work environment is characteristic of an onsite occupational clinic. Noise conditions vary depending on facility from moderate noise to noisy conditions.
Safely lifting or moving a patient and assisting with ambulation.
