Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required. High School diploma or Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) required. Successful completion of a state approved Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT), or Paramedic program or course, or graduate of Medical Assistant Program (Clinical Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or Registered Medical Assistant) One year experience in Pediatrics, Emergency Department or Urgent Care, strongly preferred. Schedule Details: 36 hours/week, Day Shift (7-7) If hired attendance will be required the first week at a New Hire Welcome day on Monday from 9a-4p. There are 3 days of central care partner orientation from 8a-4:30p on Tuesday, Wed and Thursday that first week. We prefer participation in all the sessions, but at minimum, the Thursday session is mandatory. The Emergency Department/Trauma Center provides emergency health care for children and adolescents up until their 18th birthday who present for care.. Emergency care is provided for all types of illnesses and injuries, 24 hours a day.
