Your key responsibilities The EY Growth Platforms AI ML Engineering Director will play a critical role building and maintaining our core advanced analytics platform and serving the technical execution lead for high-visibility client engagements. You'll work with Business leaders and C-level executives to translate business needs into technically executable ML agentic workflows and guide a high-performing team of engineers and contractors through end-to-end project lifecycles. Skills and attributes for success Partner with Business and Strategy Leads to translate business needs into executable AI workflows, data pipelines, and client-specific product specifications. Define the end-to-end architecture for agents that integrate LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), multi-source data ingestion, and analytics components. Lead model selection, feature engineering, embedding strategy, and prompt frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex). Design and build robust data pipelines that are scalable, reproducible, and versioned. Collaborate with Data Engineering and DevOps on pipeline integration, data normalization, and system deployment. Set coding standards and mentor junior engineers; perform model/code reviews and LOE, scope and roadmap refinement. Own delivery of AI/ML-powered components from prototype to production (REST APIs, dashboards, or embedded agents). To qualify for the role, you must have A bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Analytics, or other related field and 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 3 years of related work experience. Full-time, hands‑on experience applying AI/ML to solve real-world problems. Strong experience using the following ML models: XGBoost, LogisticsRegression or similar. Strong understanding of real-world structured data merging, schema linking, and model evaluation at scale. Strong understanding of ML workflow including ingesting, analyzing, transforming data, and evaluating results to make meaningful predictions. Fluency in Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow, with ability to architect APIs around ML models. Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining ML models, frameworks, and pipelines. Lead planning, design, and maintenance of electrical systems, including high and medium voltage projects, substations, transformers, and switchgear. Team Management Recruit, train, and develop engineering staff. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. As an electrical engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and coordinating electrical systems and components for buildings, infrastructure, and mission critical facilities. You will also collaborate with other engineers, architects, contractors, and clients to ensure the quality and safety of the electrical systems and meet the project requirements and specifications. Responsibilities Responsibilities Design and develop electrical systems and components for buildings, infrastructure, and industrial facilities, using CAD software and industry standards. Perform calculations, simulations, and analysis of electrical systems and components, such as power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security, communication, and control systems. Prepare and review electrical drawings, specifications, reports, and documents, ensuring compliance with codes, regulations, and client requirements, and evaluate electrical system designs for completeness, constructability, and conformance with cost/schedule goals. Coordinate and communicate with other engineers, architects, contractors, and clients, to resolve technical issues, provide technical support, and ensure the integration and coordination of electrical systems with other disciplines. Conduct site visits, inspections, and testing of electrical systems and components, to verify the installation, operation, and performance of the systems and identify any defects or problems. Manage and monitor the electrical design and engineering budget, schedule, and quality, and report the progress and status of the project to the management and the client. Ensure the compliance with the health, safety, and environmental policies and regulations, and follow the best practices and ethical standards of the electrical engineering profession. Research and evaluate new technologies and trends in the field of electrical engineering and propose innovative solutions to improve the quality and sustainability of the electrical systems and components. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field. At least 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in design and engineering services for buildings, infrastructure, and mission critical facilities, including utility coordination. Experience with commercial electrical design. Proficient in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or MicroStation, and electrical engineering software, such as ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower. Familiar with electrical codes, standards, and regulations, such as NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and UL. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components, such as power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security, communication, and control systems. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. Creative, innovative, and adaptable, with the passion for learning and developing new skills and technologies. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, under pressure and with tight deadlines. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills, with the ability to handle complex and challenging projects. Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality. Willingness to travel and work on‑site as required by the project. Professional Engineer (PE) license. Working Conditions While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
