DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE:
Ensures the well-being and protection of every resident through the delivery of high-quality care.

Maintains confidentiality of all pertinent personal or health information concerning residents and staff.
Answers pendant system/call lights promptly to assist with residents' needs.
Assists with daily living activities that may include, but are not limited to, bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, walking, bending, kneeling, transporting, recording vital signs, and providing psycho-social support and other personal cares.
Documents the outcomes related to resident care, medication administration, behavior, activity, and dietary.
Communicates changing health conditions, medication follow-up, and care related concerns/responses to nursing leadership team.
Prepares dining room for meals, serves meals, and cleans up dining room after meals.
Completes light housekeeping duties as necessary.
Adheres to OSHA and CDC guidelines for infection control techniques.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Neurosurgical Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our dedicated team at Monument Health in South Dakota. This role is primarily focused on inpatient care, with responsibilities in the ICU, ward, and emergency department, as well as some clinic follow\-up, but no elective cases. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of neurosurgical experience, preferably with trauma exposure. While experience in the operating room (OR) is a plus, it is not required; ICU experience is highly valued. You will work closely with the trauma team to provide high\-quality, patient\-centered care, contributing to our efforts to improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive care to neurosurgical patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow\-up, primarily in inpatient settings such as the ICU, ward, and emergency department.
Assist in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care in collaboration with neurosurgeons, trauma surgeons, and other healthcare professionals.
Perform advanced procedures as credentialed, including lumbar punctures, ventriculostomies, ICP monitoring, and wound management.
Participate actively in daily rounds, patient consultations, and interdisciplinary team meetings.
Contribute to the program's quality improvement initiatives and participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) program.
Current and unrestricted license in South Dakota as a PA or NP.
Board certification by NCCPA (PA) or AANP\/ANCC (NP).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in neurosurgery, with trauma experience preferred.
ICU experience is a significant advantage.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem\-solving skills.

Assist individuals with disabilities in their daily living activities
Aid in implementing treatments, training programs, and developmental/behavioral plans
Encourage community participation
Document all observations and daily progress notes
Communicate effectively with team members
Assist individuals in performing their cleaning responsibilities
Transport and accompany individuals to appointments, outings, and shopping

Qualifications:

HOURS: Part-time, 5-29 hours, Flexible schedule, all shifts available day, afternoon, evening and weekend hours.
SALARY: $16-$17 per hour. Dependent on experience and qualifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES: A successful candidate will provide exceptional support to young adults with serious mental health needs. This role will teach clients (ages 18-21) life skills that will help them live in the community. In this position you will assist clients with moving in and out of apartments as needed. You will also teach clients daily living skills and transport clients to work or appointments in the community as needed. A qualified applicant will provide direct client care, maintain/model appropriate boundaries, and teach applicable coping and problem-solving skills. Complete reports and documentation as necessary. Additionally, you will be trained as a medication aide and will be responsible for clients' daily medication administration.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a High School Diploma, or GED required.
Bachelor's or some secondary education preferred.
Experience working with youth and teens, preferred.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Willingness to submit to record checks to detect criminal convictions of behavior harmful towards children, spousal abuse, distributing drugs or sex crimes.
Requires a valid driver's license/auto-insurance or the ability to obtain one with approved driver status.
