Responsibilities Program Overview The Family Service Worker (FSW) role will work collaboratively with the Department of Children Services (DCS) to provide services to youths and families that are placed in custody in the state of Tennessee. Position Overview FSWs serve as a youth's guardian and must be aware of DCS policies that guide care and services. FSWs monitor the case from a legal and permanency perspective and are responsible for creating and monitoring permanency plans so that adequate services and assistance to youth and families is provided. FSWs are responsible case management of 15-20 cases Intensive but flexible schedule. FSWs deliver services in the family's home or wherever they need us (school, court, etc.) and flexibly schedule sessions to meet the family's needs; on-call rotation required. FSWs will ensure that all medical, dental, and educational needs are met and are responsible for maintaining child's records. Additional Information Our leadership is always available for backup in difficult situations. All specialists complete a thorough training schedule designed to maximize clinical skill.
