This breaks down to about $160 per week ($690 per month) for minimal commitment.

Distinguishing Characteristics:
Under direct supervision and administrative direction, provide high quality, professional cleaning services of specified indoor and exterior areas at Tucson International Airport (TUS) and Ryan Airfield (RYN) for Tucson Airport Authority (TAA); provide exceptional customer service.
Essential Functions:
The following functions and all other functions not included in this job description are to be
performed in the best interests and for the greater good of TAA.
Support and advocate for TAA's Mission, Vision, Guiding Principles and act as a champion and role-model of TAA's Cultural Fundamentals.
Provide cleaning services of specified indoors and exterior areas at TUS and RYN; cleaning tasks may include and not be limited to sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, scraping, waxing of floors, walls, stairways, sidewalks, all restroom facilities, office areas, and other areas.
Properly use and work with various cleaning chemicals; properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Use and maintain all tools and equipment in a clean and proper manner; safely operate and maintain all equipment and vehicles; follow all training protocols.
Complete all assignments in a timely and efficient manner.
Assist Facility Maintenance with projects that require both maintenance and cleaning responsibilities.
Perform special projects.
Provide exceptional customer service.
Adhere to all airport and TSA security requirements.
Be responsive to airport emergencies and situations that may involve loss of human life or property; support public safety and operational response to emergencies; utilize Incident Management System (ICS)/National Incident Management System (NIMS) protocols and procedures; coordinate and/or participate in after-action emergency de briefing with appropriate departments and stakeholders.

Qualifications Position Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, a minimum of one year work experience in custodial or janitorial operations is helpful (any equivalent combination of training and experience is acceptable).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of:
International Sanitary Supply Association Cleaning methods, materials, chemicals and equipment.
United States Department Agriculture Regulated Garbage Disposal Procedures.
Equipment and tools used in the custodial services trade.
Principles and practices of safety management and safety processes.
The organization-wide mission and goals, and how these relate to division, department, team, and individual projects and initiatives.
Skill in:
Self-motivation and taking initiative to complete quality work that furthers the mission and goals of the department and TAA.
Environmental Requirement
Work in high-noise environment; extreme seasonal weather.

Must meet the requirements to obtain and maintain access to the Security Identification Display Area {SIDA).
Must successfully complete the National Incident Management System (NIMS) 100 and 200 course requirements and certifications within the first year of assuming the position.

Manually cleaning buildings, hangars, shops, offices, ramps, lavatories, locker rooms and access areas to such properties including floors, windows, fixtures, walls corridors and walkways
Will use various methods of sweeping, mopping, dusting, collecting and disposal of trash rubbish and waste
Mow grass areas by pushing, pulling or driving domestic-type lawn equipment. Remove snow from sidewalks and access areas by pushing a shovel or other hand operated tools
Responsible for routine building maintenance and performing inspections of facilities and equipment
Use cleaning fluids and materials such as washing solutions, oil-zorb, soap, waxes, etc., and equipment such as mops, scrub brushes, brooms, scrapers, squeegees, wringer pails and vacuum cleaners
Operate mechanized cleaning and floor surfacing machines and equipment: loading, unloading, dumping and racking operations to pick-up, haul, and dispose of refuse, drums of used oil, empty barrels, etc.; moving and transferring furniture, fixtures, office equipment and materials
Completes forms connected with work assignments according to established procedures
Working in all types of variable weather elements and in some instances may be required to accomplish work assignments within narrow time constraints
Must be able to perform all duties under sometimes stressful conditions beyond the employee's control
Must be able to work with minimal supervision, report to work regularly and on-time, and be self-motivated

We are seeking full time custodian for the 3pm to 11pm shift. This non-exempt position involves general cleaning duties and equipment operation such as vacuuming carpet, stripping, sealing and waxing floors, cleaning restrooms and collecting trash. Essential Job Functions

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Practice a culture of safety to reduce or prevent risk of injury, claims, loss or liability by utilizing the Risk Management and Infection Control Plan.
Perform responsibilities with a high-quality standard to yield improved compliance, quality, and patient outcome measures by adhering to the Quality Improvement Plan.
Be present and ready for work as scheduled.
Attend in-service trainings, departmental meetings and community events.
Work cohesively with team members.
General Cleaning and Maintenance
Meets daily with supervisor to discuss special needs, problems, and assignments.
Adheres to a sanitation and cleaning schedule checklist in accordance with OSHA and industry-specific guidelines.
Performs all daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning requirements, including but not limited to vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, cleaning wall and light fixtures/coverings, and inspection / replacement of light bulbs as needed, etc.
Maintains lobby, waiting rooms and other clinic areas. Clean glass entry and reception areas of fingerprints, smudges, etc.
Clean spills and/or accidents following proper protocol and guidelines.
Reports maintenance needs to Facilities Lead and/or Director of Facilities.
Regularly surveys facility, grounds, and equipment and report issues, as necessary.
Maintains outside of facility by raking debris, cleaning sidewalks and keeping entry areas clear of trash and leaves, with close attention to safety during inclement weather conditions.
Perform routine daily checks of thermostats, air/heat flow, interior and exterior lights for proper working conditions.
Responds to overhead calls.
Other Duties
Ensures the security of buildings through locks and security system at beginning and end of each business day.
