As a Lead Fire Alarm Technician at Honeywell, you will be at the forefront of protecting lives and property by ensuring the performance and reliability of critical fire alarm and life safety systems. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Physical & Work Requirements:

YOU MUST HAVE

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS OVERVIEW
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut is $65,400 - $81,800. For Washington and most major metropolitan areas in New York & California, the annual base salary range is $71,000 - $89,800. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. **ABOUT THE ROLE**
As a **Lead Fire Alarm Technician** at **Honeywell** , you will be at the forefront of protecting lives and property by ensuring the performance and reliability of critical fire alarm and life safety systems. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Travel to customer sites 85-90% of the time, managing your own travel arrangements, site coordination, and reporting.
+ Program, configure, and test fire complex alarm panels, including XLS-3000 and ZLS-140 systems.
+ Perform troubleshooting and repairs on a wide range of fire alarm and life safety systems.
+ Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure code compliance and operational readiness.
+ Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and fire codes to support system design and integration.
+ Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and successful project execution.
+ Mentor junior technicians and support continuous improvement across the team.
+ Maintain accurate documentation and service records for compliance and reporting.

**Physical & Work Requirements:**
+ Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work at heights, and perform physical tasks related to installation and inspection of fire alarm systems.
+ Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching during installation and inspection activities.
+ Manual dexterity and visual acuity required to handle tools, wiring, and electronic test equipment.
+ Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and extended shifts based on customer needs.
+ Typical assignments range from a few days to several months with company paid travel home 1 weekend per 8 weeks period.
**YOU MUST HAVE**
+ Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in fire protection or a closely related field.
+ Hands-on experience with fire alarm panel programming, including new construction and retrofit projects.
+ NICET Level II or higher certification in Fire Alarm Systems.
+ Strong understanding of NFPA codes, local fire regulations, and industry standards.
+ Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to **90%** .
+ Ability to pass an **FAA background check** .

**COMPENSATION & BENEFITS OVERVIEW**
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut is $65,400 - $81,800.
