Job Summary
The Electrical Leadman is a working foreman who leads a crew of electricians and apprentices in the installation of electrical systems for new single-family homes. The role combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on electrical work. This position is hourly and non-exempt, eligible for overtime in accordance with federal and state labor laws. The Leadman ensures work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with IES Residential standards, project specifications, and applicable codes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Crew Operations: Oversee and participate in daily electrical tasks including layout, rough-in, and trim-out phases of residential new construction.
Ensure Code Compliance: Perform and inspect work in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local regulations, and project blueprints.
Safety Oversight: Enforce all IES Residential safety protocols and OSHA requirements on-site.

About this Role
Substation Foreman at Irby Construction Company shall possess a minimum of one (4) years of experience in a Journeymen electrical role.
