Position Summary:
Responsible for ensuring the security and safety of the residents, guests, vendors, and staff for the Safe Campus. Responsible for performing the duties of front desk operations, including greeting visitors, announcing guests to residents, answering phones, and monitoring security camera images.
When you take on this role, you will be the first point of contact for residents, guests, and visitors, creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment at our Safe Campus. By ensuring security, monitoring activity, and providing helpful assistance, you'll play a vital part in protecting survivors of family violence and giving them the peace of mind they need to heal and rebuild.
Key Responsibilities:
Greets, interacts with, and directs clients, guests, and vendors in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner; ensures guests and vendors check in and out when conducting business at the campus.

Learn and retain complete knowledge of front office procedures and comply with all policies and procedures.
Maintain the Virgin “Tone of Voice,” Culture & level of standards set forth by the management team.
Maintain complete knowledge of the following at all times:
Hotel features/services, hours of operation.
All room types, numbers, layout, décor, appointments & location.
All room rates, special packages and promotions.
Daily house count and expected arrivals/departures.
Room availability status for any given day.
Scheduled daily group activities.
Use excellent communication skills with guests, staff including verbal, written and body language.
Learn and retain knowledge of all front office technical systems
Assist and process check-in & check-outs for our guests in accordance with their preference (traditional, kiosk, iPad).

Handles confidential information with high integrity
Maintains accurate cash, accounting, and reservation records
Responsible for all cash and credit card transactions so that drawers balance at the end of each shift
Answers guest inquiries about area attractions, hotel services, directions or reservations
Conducts wake up calls as requested
Records pertinent guest information and issues in log book for opening managers review
Keeps communal areas and lobby clean
