The Specifications Writer, with general direction from the Manager-Specifications, coordinates the preparation of specifications (establishing material requirements and describing installation) for all disciplines; Establishes and maintains office standard specifications. **Essential Job Functions:** + Work with project managers, architects and engineers to prepare specifications for schematic, design development and construction documents. + Educate less experienced staff throughout the course of the project on specification writing principles. + Seek out additional opportunities to learn about products and technologies and disseminate information to team members. The Intern, under direction from the discipline Manager and/or project engineer, applies CAD/Revit skills and design knowledge in generating engineering design documents, digital models and databases. The Lighting Designer, with some supervision from the Director of Electrical Engineering or senior staff, provides design, analysis and engineering for lighting, lighting control systems and circuiting for new construction and/or renovation of industrial and commercial structures in conformance to client requirements and applicable codes.
