Responsibilities Monitor client's condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care Observe and interpret client's symptoms and communicate them to physician Effectively communicate and collaborate with other nursing staff and physician to provide individualized care plans for clients Perform routine assessments and medical duties (i.e. CIWA and COWS assessments, vitals, intake nursing assessments) Enter documentation in a timely and accurate fashion as required for each client's chart Input orders into the MARs, administer patient's medication and provide treatments according to physician's orders Provide medical care and support as needed in crisis situations Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for clients Provide education and training for other staff on an ongoing basis Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc. Skills Proven experience as a practicing nurse Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures Excellent knowledge of crisis care In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Responsible and compassionate Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills Patient with excellent problem-solving skills Valid nursing license Job Type: Full-time Salary: $90,000.00 per year Benefits: Flexible schedule Health insurance 401k package Profit Share Cash Balance Paid time off Physical setting: Clinic Standard shift: Day shift Experience: Nursing: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: BLS Certification (Preferred) ND Nurse License (Required) Work Location: In person
