This is a contract position which offers:

Schedule: 1-5 day per week commitment (between the hours of M-F, 8:00am - 5:00pm); patients scheduled according to your availability and on a monthly basis so you can modify.
MUST have an ADA-compliant office within 50 miles of a needed location within the U.S.

Essential Job Functions:
• Engage in mobile outreach services within the Denver metro area, targeting communities requiring harm reduction
services.
• Develop and facilitate educational presentations in the community regarding NARCAN /Naloxone use, safe injection
practices, using drug checking strategies, and other harm reduction best practices. Trainings will include individual and
group-level interventions for people who use (inject) drugs (PWUD/PWID), law enforcement, first responders,
treatment/health care providers, and other community stakeholders as relevant to overdose prevention practices.

• Administer HIV/HCV/STI testing and individualized risk reduction counseling services to PWUD, as well as people living
with HIV, members of the LGBTQ+ community, people experiencing or at risk for homelessness, and other populations
who may benefit from educational programs and services related to HIV, STI, and HCV testing and information, sexual
wellness efforts, and harm reduction.
• Develop and maintain a referral network of PWUD/PWID support and prevention services and provide linkage to care
(LTC) as needed.
• Advance and implement harm reduction education, outreach, supportive services, and syringe access program
development in Denver.
• Represent the organization at community events and collaborative meetings as needed and participate in
departmental and agency retreats and meetings.
• Stay current with best harm reduction practices for people who use/inject drugs and participate in additional trainings
when offered.
• Develop program outcome tracking tools and quality improvement plans to ensure the quality and relevance of
programmatic information for PWUD/PWID. Assist in developing and maintaining programmatic tracking and data
collection for internal and grant reporting purposes.

educational programs and services related to overdose prevention, HIV, and Hepatitis C testing and information, sexual
wellness efforts, harm reduction programs including, but not limited to, syringe exchange programs, and other
advocacy and public health efforts.
• Play a role in social media marketing, development, support, and upkeep, with the goal of informing the community
about various programs, incentives, linkage to care (LTC), harm reduction services, referral opportunities, and CHN
integrated care services.
• Collaborate with the prevention services team and Colorado Health Network integrated care services to develop and
support programs that are culturally competent and responsive to clients accessing prevention support at Denver CHN.
• Assist with intern/volunteer/AmeriCorps training and support in the areas of overdose prevention, outreach, syringe
exchange, and other prevention services.
• Develop and facilitate train-the-trainer curriculum to educate peers and other community members on overdose
prevention best practices.
• Offer in-person assistance for CHN's drug checking services, adhering to grant policies and established protocols, and
ensuring the maintenance of high-quality information for sharing with the community and all CHN prevention teams.
• Be flexible with work hours, including working days, evenings, and possibly weekends as needed.

Our camp is located at Bookcliff Country Club in Grand Junction, CO. Camp will run Monday-Friday from June 8 through July 24 - staff members must be available to work the full camp season.
