Proven project management experience from initial product planning and scope definition through delivery to customers. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES SolidWorks, Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator. Must be open-minded, team-oriented, clear communicator, with excellent analytical and critical thinking skills. Should have a good mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn new processes. Must be able to work with minimum supervision, meet time sensitive deadlines, keep accurate records, work in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Integrated System Design: Develop and document low-voltage building systems in collaboration with project teams. Project Documentation: Produce system drawings and specifications through all phases of design and construction. Telecommunications: Design inside and outside plant infrastructure including backbone cabling, telecom/equipment rooms, data centers, and grounding systems. Voice & Data Systems: Create VoIP system layouts and optimize wireless access points using Ekahau Wi-Fi software. Security & Surveillance: Design electronic access control systems and video surveillance layouts. Acoustics & Communications: Develop sound masking, public address, rescue assistance, mass notification, and building clock systems. Construction Administration: Conduct site visits, coordinate with contractors, and prepare observation reports. Client Collaboration: Engage directly with clients, contractors, and Internet Service Providers to ensure seamless project delivery. Required Qualifications: BICSI RCDD Certification (required) 5+ years of relevant experience in technology systems design Proficiency with BIM, Revit, Ekahau, and Speclink Strong knowledge of BICSI, TIA/EIA standards, and the National Electrical Code Broad experience across multiple system types including telecommunications, sound masking, access control, video surveillance, public address, and notification systems Preferred Qualities: Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to mentor junior team members Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities Work Environment: Hybrid schedule preferred (2-3 days in-office per week) Candidates must live within 60 miles of Madison, WI or Waukesha, WI No relocation assistance available at this time Why Join Us?
