Climbs trees for trimming along energized high-voltage powerlines, as qualified. Climbs poles and performs pole-top rescue, as qualified. Sees that any vehicles, tools, equipment, and supplies assigned are properly used and kept in good condition. Uses safety equipment as needed and practices safe working habits. While operating a vehicle, complies with all traffic laws, safety rules and regulations, and safe practices, ensuring the safety of the vehicle, its occupants and load, bystanders, and the public. Observes and inspects powerlines and poles for hazardous conditions or other conditions that might cause a power failure. Accurately collects and reports inspection data.
