RESPONSIBILITIES
Observe and/or interact with various professionals related to the construction field including owners, engineers, architects, general contractors, and subcontractors
Attend company training and departmental meetings on an ongoing basis
Assist with the overall construction administration responsibilities, manage RFI s, and answer, complete, and return submittals in a timely manner
Assist in 11-month warranty and maintenance site walks.
Attend owner, architect, and contractor meetings, take meeting notes
Review MEP documents for quality control
Survey existing MEP systems to document existing conditions
Review owner and maintenance manuals (O&Ms) and prepare written report
Perform project site visits and create observation reports
Attend project kick off meetings or huddles
Attend onsite meetings to assist in resolving coordination conflicts
Learn how to navigate through drawings and specifications
Watch DBR s safety training video
Attend manufacture equipment startups demonstration and training
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to physically maneuver by foot minor obstacles at construction projects
Talk/Hear: The person in this position frequently communicates with clients and team members regarding project information. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Use hands/fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls: Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
Stand or Sit: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
Move: The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access office machinery, project information, etc.
See/Visual Acuity: Must have close vision, distance vision and the ability to focus to perform an activity, such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading at distances close to the eyes
Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
WORKING CONDITION
Subject to inside environmental conditions: protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in a typical office environment.) The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with 10 or more years of experience in planning, design, and project management on municipal water and wastewater treatment and facilities projects to work from any of our Texas offices located in Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and Round Rock. Recent and ongoing projects include planning, evaluation and design of water and wastewater treatment plant expansions and process improvements, pump stations, and lift stations.
Primary responsibilities for this position include:
Leading multidisciplinary teams in the preparation of technical reports, plans, and specifications for various water treatment, wastewater treatment, and pump station projects.
Preparing facility assessment and design reports, design calculations, process and/or hydraulic modeling, selecting and sizing equipment, preparing design documents and construction documents, supporting construction phase services both in the office and in the field.
Project management including task, budget, and schedule management, as well as client interaction.
Mentoring junior and technical staff.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
Texas PE license or the ability to obtain a Texas PE license within 12 months of hire
More than 10 years of experience in municipal water and wastewater facilities design with emphasis on process evaluation, design, and construction of municipal water and wastewater treatment plants.
More than three years of experience in project management and client service, including successful budget and schedule controls
3 or more years of experience in managing and mentoring junior staff
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to convey engineering information concisely to technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with BioWin, Sumo and/or GPS-X process models
Experience supporting proposal preparation and participating in interviews

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Analytical Engineering Consultant specializing in Electromagnetic Transient (EMT) analysis of power systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performing complex calculations related to Transient Over-Voltage (TOV), Transient Recovery Voltage (TRV), Switching Studies, and Insulation Coordination. Additionally, the candidate should possess extensive software proficiency in PSCAD or EMTP-RV.
Responsibilities:

ACCOUNTABILITY
Responsible for the profitability and successful execution of projects including the quality of work performed, client service, business development, utilization of staff, reputation of the firm, contract management, billing and project profitability. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Work with the Partner s and other Senior Project Managers and Project Managers to assess targeted market potential, and to select target clients that fulfill the marketing plan and budget.
Assist in providing oversight of client/proposal tracking activities; management and review of Requests For Proposal s (RFP s), Statements of Qualifications (SOQ s) and proposals.
Works with all involved disciplines, prepares estimated labor requirements, schedules and other pertinent data; participates with Partner in Charge in preparing fee proposals, conducting fee negotiations, preparing contractual agreement; and is sufficiently familiar with all agreements between firm and client to effectively manage the project in a professional and economic manner.
Ascertain that code checks are made and zoning status is acceptable and coordinates with proper building officials.
Reviews the documents prior to timely submission of documents to the client for in-house and client milestone progress reviews to ensure all documents are in place and submitted to the client.
Provides engineering oversight on all engineering disciplines involved in the project. Provides corrective instruction to design staff on engineering issues.
Participates in design to a limited extent in order to complete the project on time and within budget.
Ensures that the project, from original authorization through studies and reports, design, construction and post-construction, meets all requirements of the client and approving agencies and standards of quality of the firm.
Ensures that all services provided are accurate and appropriate and that charges against projects are reasonable.
Maintain adequate records, memos of conversations, and similar documentation in the file.
Take necessary administrative action in coordination with the Partner in Charge to assure proper invoicing for services performed.
Assists in the collection of past due accounts.
Participate in Evaluation process of team members.

Work with the Partner's and other Senior Project Managers and Project Managers to assess targeted market potential, and to select target clients that fulfill the marketing plan and budget.
Assist in providing oversight of client/proposal tracking activities; management and review of Requests For Proposal's (RFP's), Statements of Qualifications (SOQ's) and proposals.
Works with all involved disciplines, prepares estimated labor requirements, schedules and other pertinent data; participates with Partner in Charge in preparing fee proposals, conducting fee negotiations, preparing contractual agreement; and is sufficiently familiar with all agreements between firm and client to effectively manage the project in a professional and economic manner.
Ascertain that code checks are made and zoning status is acceptable and coordinates with proper building officials.
Reviews the documents prior to timely submission of documents to the client for in-house and client “milestone” progress reviews to ensure all documents are in place and submitted to the client.
Provides engineering oversight on all engineering disciplines involved in the project. Provides corrective instruction to design staff on engineering issues.
Participates in design to a limited extent in order to complete the project on time and within budget.
Ensures that the project, from original authorization through studies and reports, design, construction and post-construction, meets all requirements of the client and approving agencies and standards of quality of the firm.
Ensures that all services provided are accurate and appropriate and that charges against projects are reasonable.
Maintain adequate records, memos of conversations, and similar documentation in the file.
Take necessary administrative action in coordination with the Partner in Charge to assure proper invoicing for services performed.
Assists in the collection of past due accounts.
Participate in Evaluation process of team members.
May coordinate, manage and provide oversight of other project managers and teams on various projects due to project size and current workloads from major clients.
Assist in the mentorship and training of other project managers.
Maintain neat and organized work area, which allows efficient access to information required by other team members.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to lead transformative transportation drainage projects across Texas, with a focus on TxDOT, RMAs, counties, and municipalities.
