Hesco Parts company history timeline

1930

HESCO, Inc.'s roots actually go back to the 1930's when it began as Hagerstown Engraving and Stamping Company, or HESCO. The business supplied engraving and stamping services to local customers as well as engraved plastic parts to the pipe organ industry.

1938

The company has been associated with Ford since 1938, and it distributes powertrains from centers in Oklahoma City; Atlanta; El Paso, Texas; Memphis, Tenn.; New Orleans; and Orlando, Fla.

1962

The company was last purchased by Max and Marjorie Mogensen in 1962.

2001

In November 2001, Larry Ensor, senior vice president of Hesco, told Business First that 70 percent of the company's business was from remanufacturing starters and alternators for Ford.

2002

He said that the company has set a sales goal of $17 million for its Louisville operations in 2002.
