Qualifications
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of restaurant operations, to include proper staffing levels, member relations and etiquette.
Ability to read, write, and speak the English language sufficiently to understand menus, record orders, and communicate with members and guests on reservation details and special requests.
Ability to move throughout a crowded dining room to seat guests.
Ability to remember, recite, and promote the variety of menu items.

Primary responsibilities of the Host/Hostess at Travis Pointe Country Club include:
Greet and seat members and guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
Knowledgeable of table numbers, section numbers, and proper table rotation.
Inspect dining room prior to opening to ensure cleanliness, proper setup, and presentation.
Organize the Host/Hostess station.
Ensure menus and wine lists are clean and presentable.
Manage the guest reservation book and system.
Assist servers that are busy or overloaded.
Bus and reset tables.
Frequently check the restrooms for cleanliness and supplies.
