Provide guests with friendly and attentive service throughout their dining experience. Manage party sizes, reservations, and wait lists to handle guest needs, accurately quote wait times, and maintain the flow of the restaurant. Answer the telephone in a pleasant manner and respond appropriately to all inquiries. Assist with handling takeout orders. Ensure timeliness, accuracy, organization, and payment. Thank guests for visiting as they depart the restaurant and inquire about their experience. Properly communicate guest complaints with a sense of urgency, poise, and good judgment to our Management Team. Complete any assigned opening, side work, and closing duties to set your team up for success. Stock, clean, and organize the guest service stand. The desired candidate will have: 1+ years of experience as a Host at upscale restaurants A welcoming personality and a true passion for hosting Integrity and the ability to make decisions on your feet The ability to speak clearly and articulately on the telephone Experience with reservation systems such as OpenTable Professional, polished, and personable demeanor

COMPENSATION: $2.13 per hour plus tips. Annual range of compensation: $50,000 to $100,000 REQUIRED TRAINING/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of bar and restaurant service and pleasant attitude. 10 years restaurant experience. Flexible and malleable attitude towards new ideas. Must be able to stand for 9 hours. Ability to perform all job functions while wearing the specified uniform, including proper footwear. Good hearing for accurate communication. Command of the English language. Basic computer usage skills. Must be alert to guest needs. Ability to carry and lift small and large trays up to 40 pounds. Compute guest checks and operates the P.O.S. computerized cash register system when accepting payments. Lawfully declares tips according to tip declaration procedure. Maintain dining room and service area safety and sanitation. Must pass state alcohol certification examination. Must pass all tests with a grade of 90% or higher. Perform job functions with accordance to performance standards. Attend all Ambassador meetings and bring suggestions for improvements. Maintain clean and professional appearance at all times.
