The candidate must be goal-oriented, flexible, and able to work efficiently with safety and quality in mind. We are searching for enthusiastic and innovative individuals with a good understanding of good manufacturing practices to support routine manufacturing operations for Cell Therapy. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Performing patient process unit operations and support operations described in standard operating procedures and batch records. Work in a cleanroom environment and perform aseptic processing; maintain manufacturing environmental conditions (Non-Viable Particulate(s) and Viable microbial levels per controlled area classification specifications) by performing area disinfection regimen as required to meet global Health Authority requirements. Completing documentation required by process transfer protocols, validation protocols, standard operating procedures, and batch records. Performing tasks in a manner consistent with the safety policies, quality systems, and GMP requirements. Completing training assignments to ensure the necessary technical skills and knowledge. Assisting in setting up manufacturing areas and equipment/fixtures. Perform facility and equipment commissioning activities. Training others on SOPs, Work Instructions to successfully complete manufacturing operations. Executing daily unit operations schedule that includes people, product, and material flow across multiple shifts. REQUIRED COMPETENCIES Education: Bachelor's in a relevant science or engineering discipline is preferred. High school diploma and 2 years of experience in cGMP bioprocessing manufacturing, cell therapy manufacturing, or relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of cGMP regulations and FDA guidance applicable to biologics and cell therapy manufacturing is preferred.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Follow the laboratory's procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting and maintaining records of patient test result; Maintain records that demonstrate that proficiency testing samples are tested in the same manner as patient specimens; Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures (see department SOPs). Review and release test results. Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines as described in their respective guidelines. Adhere to the laboratory's quality control policies, document all quality control activities, instrument and procedural calibrations and all maintenance performed; Follow the laboratory's established policies and procedures whenever test systems are not within the laboratory's established acceptable levels of performance. Identify problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results, correct the problems encountered or immediately notify the senior technologist or supervisor. Document all corrective actions taken when test systems deviate from the laboratory's established performance specifications. Follow department's procedure in reporting STATS or Critical results to clients. If applicable, answer clientions from customers or other lab personnel. Maintain complete records of all testing performed on-site. Maintain general appearance of the department. Make sure reagents/test kits have received dates, expiration dates, and if applicable opened dates. 15. Review/train on new procedures. Attend monthly department and any additional training/educational meetings. Participate in all applicable safety training sessions. Know the location and contents of the safety manual. Know the location/use of all applicable safety equipment. If needed, participate in government or regulatory agency inspections. Perform other duties as directed by supervisor. Required Knowledge: A solid understanding of basic laboratory testing is required for this position. The successful candidate must possess good computer skills and be able to adapt to working in multiple computer systems. Must have knowledge of QC and QA as well as knowledge of all areas of the laboratory. Education: BS in Medical Technology preferred;or BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology, or Associates degree in a Laboratory Science or Medical Technology, or Previously qualified as a Technologist under 42 CFR 493. 1433 published in March 14, 1990. Work Experience: 1 year Clinical experience (high complexity testing) preferred. JOB SUMMARY The Lab Assistant is responsible for supporting the overall operation of the laboratory by performing various, non-technical functions and administrative tasks consisting of, but not limited to, preparing media and samples for analysis, washing and sterilizing laboratory equipment and instrumentation, entering data into software systems, and preparing individual sample kits for customers. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Medical Lab Technician Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Description Job Summary: Analyzes samples of blood, tissue, and body fluids to determine chemical content, cell count, drug levels or blood type; may also search for specific microorganisms like bacteria or parasites. Provides information for patient diagnosis and treatment by performing laboratory tests. Essential Functions: Consistently uses an outward mindset and puts forth exemplary effort in accomplishing his/her goals and objectives in a manner that helps others to achieve their goals and objectives. Prepares reagents, QC, and calibrators from predetermined procedures for use in routine and special tests. Performs routine and safety program checks and preventative maintenance on instrumentation. Performs patient testing in all areas of the laboratory. Performs and reports QC and calibrations as required; recalibrates if necessary. Draws blood specimens from patients as required by the supervisor. Calls critical results per procedure. Performs other related duties as required or directed. Logs and processes specimens, keeps accurate records, prepares, and transmits reports clearly and completely. Participates in proficiency testing. Assists lab aides and other hospital staff with testing information and collection criteria.
