This Opportunity
Provides subject matter technical planning support and leadership for capturing, modeling, and analyzing work site information, geographical resources, and spatial and tabular data to inform and create plans for the safe movement of people and products by all modes of transport, to optimize logistics / scheduling / systems, and to account for the economic, social, and environmental impact of projects and initiatives. Provides guidance for multi-site/phase planning projects, site and impact assessment, the preparation of general plans, specific/master plans, public involvement, and regulatory compliance for a variety of client projects relating to equitable transportation development and construction, transportation demand management, mobility planning, multimodal access, surface transportation, and funding. Ensures planning-related project elements and processes are conveyed and acted upon with a high level of quality and compliance to accurately address impact, long-term risks, and future ready solutions by applying and integrating transportation, environmental, and regional planning. Responsible for providing situational guidance to PMs and managers ensuring that responsibilities are delivered and adhered to with a level of quality that meets or exceeds acceptable industry standards.
Your Impact
Provide oversight with data collection efforts for identifying and compiling observational, spatial, and environmental data concerning a variety of matrices for projects, research, and surveys.
Ensure the appropriate use of topographic maps, aerial photographs, GPS data, and other visualization tools to determine exact locations of project areas, associated physical / urban / population / economic / political sensitivities, and to uncover primary, secondary, and tertiary impacts.
Prepare, complete, and/or review general plans, specific/master plans, community plans, zoning codes, comprehensive plans, permitting policies and/or development standards for assigned projects, with a particular emphasis on transportation and multimodal accommodation. Ensure technical reports and presentations explain research, findings, and recommendations to plan, address, prevent, control, or restore larger-scale planning challenges and complex problems.
Perform professional transportation planning work and conduct investigations, inspections, studies, and surveys to gain further information on a particular problem or issue, verify site characteristics, and/or to plan for future needs affecting equitable development, construction, transportation demand management, mobility planning, and multimodal access.
Prepare data and visualizations such as tables, charts, reports, models, infographics, cross-sections, and 3D illustrations for the interpretation or presentation of more complex and larger scale data, findings, or analyses.
Prepare applications and represent clients in the approval process with local and regional jurisdictions.
Prepare, coordinate, and facilitate public involvement and consensus‑building meetings in support of client project work, answering public questions on behalf of the client, and assisting with long‑range planning efforts on larger‑size or more complex projects.
Read, interpret, compose, and review Planning Reports, Categorical Exclusions, EA's, EIRs, and other technical documents.
Oversee and monitor cross‑functional teams in executing project work, approval or permitting strategy, impact assessments, and regulatory strategy, including project budgets, tracking hours and expenses, and task completion.
Provide high level oversite for desk‑based research and site work, including measurements, data interpretation, demographics, patterns and trends, and computer modeling.
Provide analysis, evaluation, and interpretation of facts and data obtained during field and site investigations, offering input with developing action plans for more significant to high‑level challenges and development activities to minimize impacts to the community, population, local economy, and environment.
Coordinate with clients, resource agencies, and planning and technical staff, providing a high level of strategic advice, consultancy, and subject matter expertise.
Develop a client base for providing high level transportation planning services including identifying additional business development opportunities and engaging in proposal writing and submission.
Mentor staff to support their growth and professional development.
Collaborate with professionals from a variety of disciplines to provide future ready solutions for clients.
Remain current in latest transportation planning subject matter, practices, regulations, and techniques.
Exercise responsible and ethical decision‑making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

Who You Are
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Transportation Planning, Urban Planning, Environmental Planning, or a related field (or equivalent experience.)
10+ years of experience working in the transportation planning field, actively engaging in general plans, specific/master plans, zoning code updates, public involvement, and regulatory compliance for a variety of client projects relating to equitable transportation development and construction, transportation demand management, mobility planning, multimodal access, surface transportation, and funding.
Advanced proficiency with the transportation project development cycle; including from planning to implementation.
Highly proficient with reviewing surface transportation projects and program cost estimates and assessing project readiness for inclusion in the strategic local/regional Transportation Plan.
Highly proficient expertise with planning skills for a specific ecosystem(s), geography, transportation networks, systems, and modalities.
Extensive knowledge and expertise with relevant approval processes, zoning laws, permitting requirements, notification and compliance practices, and applicable Regional/State/Federal regulatory framework.
Demonstrated technical competence leading permitting and approval of assigned planning projects within business sector (e.g. transportation, infrastructure, construction, etc.)
Advanced expertise with consulting practices, and established experience coordinating with clients, regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and technical staff required.
Ability to work independently and provide guidance and leadership to mid-level to senior level team or project members, with strict adherence to QA/QC.
Experienced with providing critical review for documents and preparing technical deliverables and plans with a high degree of complexity.
Strong self‑leadership and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively, persuasively, and tactfully interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
Experience with discipline‑specific software (i.e., CAD, ArcGIS, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch‑Up).
Proficiency with technical business writing, office automation and communication software, technology, and tools.
Extensive critical thinking and problem‑solving skills required to reach conclusions from testing results, data collation, and identify the most effective solutions to accomplish objectives of assigned projects.
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Must be flexible to a variety of schedules to meet business needs and able to prioritize responsibilities and quickly adapt to change in a pressure work environment.
Occasional travel may be required depending on project‑specific requirements.

About the Role
We're hiring field IT technicians who can confidently support a wide range of tech needs for residential and small business customers.
This includes troubleshooting PCs and Macs, resolving network issues, and repairing or configuring printers/scanners - including issues like Canon MF printer network setup or G-series ink absorber error codes (e.g., 1700).
You'll be dispatched to customer sites, work independently, and complete service calls efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair hardware/software issues on Windows and mac OS systems
Resolve boot errors, OS issues, and login problems
Set up or troubleshoot Wi-Fi and wired internet connections
Replace or upgrade hardware (HDD, RAM, cooling fans, etc.)
Configure or connect printers and scanners (Canon, HP, Brother, etc.)
Address common printer error codes (e.g., ink absorber, paper feed, connectivity)
Perform general maintenance on multifunction printers (MFPs)
Reinstall operating systems using bootable USBs or recovery media
Install remote tools or shortcuts as requested
Communicate clearly with customers and provide basic post-service support
Document service visits and escalate complex issues as needed
Requirements
2+ years of field IT support experience, including computer and printer work
Familiarity with Canon, HP, and other common printer brands
Knowledge of error code troubleshooting (e.g., Canon code 1700, boot issues, driver conflicts)
Experience with both Windows (10/11) and mac OS troubleshooting
Must have personal tools (bootable USB, screwdriver set, etc.)
Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
Smartphone with camera and data for documentation and communication
Ability to work independently and maintain a professional demeanor

Compensation and Hours

We are a Managed Services Provider (MSP), VoIP Provider, and Fiber ISP delivering cutting -edge technology solutions to businesses. Our services include managed IT support, network infrastructure, VoIP systems, and fiber internet solutions.
We are expanding our team and looking for an IT Support Manager who can handle Level 1 & 2 support tickets, manage SLAs/KPIs, improve documentation, and oversee support operations. This position will also require occasional travel to customer sites, data centers, and remote office locations.
This role is hands -on and leadership -oriented, requiring someone with strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, Linux, networking, VoIP, security, automation, and cloud technologies while also ensuring documentation, process improvements, and service delivery meet high standards. This position is also on -call for nights/weekends as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support & Troubleshooting (L1 & L2)
Provide hands -on troubleshooting for Windows, Linux, and mac OS systems.
Manage Active Directory (AD) structure, Group Policy (GPO), hybrid AD environments.
Troubleshoot networking issues (firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, BGP, DHCP, DNS, routing).
Configure and maintain MikroTik, Juniper, and other enterprise network devices.
Diagnose and resolve VoIP issues (SIP, PBX, Asterisk, FreePBX, 3CX, Kazoo, QoS).
Perform packet capture analysis (Wireshark, tcpdump, MikroTik Torch, etc.).
Support Azure AD, Intune, and identity management (Okta, CASB, Zero Trust).
Maintain and troubleshoot hyper -converged environments (Hyper -V, VMware, StarWind, TrueNAS Scale, Proxmox).
Manage Veeam backup & disaster recovery solutions.
Implement security hardening, endpoint protection, and compliance measures.
Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripts.
Documentation, SOPs & Process Improvements
Maintain and improve documentation in ITGlue, Hudu, Confluence, and Wiki systems.
Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), knowledge base articles, and internal training materials.
Establish a weekly documentation quota to ensure consistent documentation of systems, processes, and resolutions.
Identify and implement process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency.
Management, SLA, KPIs & Reporting
Ensure SLA compliance for ticket response and resolution times.
Track KPIs for IT support performance and identify areas for improvement.
Generate and present weekly/monthly reports on SLA compliance, ticket resolution, and documentation progress.
Work with leadership to refine IT processes, service delivery, and automation.
Conduct periodic performance reviews and mentorship for junior technicians.
Travel & On -Call Responsibilities
Travel to customer sites, data centers, and remote office locations as needed for support and project work.
Be available for on -call rotations for nights, weekends, and critical incidents.
Ensure urgent issues are addressed promptly and escalations are handled effectively.
RequirementsQualifications & Skills
Required Experience & Knowledge
3+ years in an MSP, ISP, or enterprise IT environment handling L1/L2 support.
Strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory (GPO, OU design, hybrid AD).
Linux system administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, Rocky).
Hands -on experience with MikroTik, Juniper, and enterprise network infrastructure.
VoIP troubleshooting (SIP, PBX, Asterisk, FreePBX, 3CX, Kazoo, QoS).
Packet capture analysis (Wireshark, tcpdump, MikroTik Torch, etc.).
Experience with security hardening, MFA, Zero Trust, endpoint protection.
Backup & DR solutions (Veeam, Datto, Unitrends, TrueNAS, ZFS, BTRFS).
Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting for automation.
Preferred Experience (Not Required, But a Plus!)
Azure AD, Intune, and identity management (Okta, CASB, Zero Trust).
ImmyBot, Rewst, and RMM tools (NinjaRMM, Datto RMM, Automate, Kaseya, Auvik, etc.).
SIEM, log analysis, and security frameworks (NIST, CIS, SOC2).
ISP network management (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, PPPoE, VLAN -based L2 transport).
Soft Skills & Attributes
Ability to work independently with minimal documentation and troubleshoot unknown issues.
Strong documentation and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
Mentorship and leadership skills to train junior staff.
Certifications (Preferred but Not Required)
CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+
Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator
Cisco CCNA or Juniper JNCIA
VoIP/SIP certifications (SIP School, FreePBX, 3CX)
Azure Administrator Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
