We are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented, and technically proficient IT Risk & Compliance Professional to join our Enterprise IT Controls team. The IT Risk & Compliance Professional acts as the primary subject matter expert and trusted advisor for Enterprise IT Controls compliance. Incumbents lead interactions with internal customers at all levels from staff to senior management across Caterpillar IT and Caterpillar Corporate Governing bodies such as Corporate Legal, Corporate Ethics & Compliance, and Corporate Internal Auditing & Compliance. Incumbent provides global support.
**What You Will Do:**
Provide Guidance on Execution of Enterprise IT Controls:
+ Provide guidance and train teams on ownership, implementation, and execution of Enterprise IT Controls.
+ Communicate, implement, and manage organizational change of IT control changes and ownership.
+ Coordinate and lead training of Process Owners, Execution Owners, and Execution teams on IT Controls requirements.
+ Develop strong relationships with Process Owners and Execution Owners.
+ Overall key contact for IT controls and governance compliance.
Provide Guidance on Remediation of IT Controls:
+ Provide enterprise governance and consultation on IT controls policies, processes, deadlines, and testing.
+ Ensure IT Control self-attestation participants understand results and make recommendations based upon implications.
+ Provide guidance to execution teams to help ensure control issues are remediated timely.
+ Challenge stakeholders on root causes of risk and effectiveness of remediation activities.
Sustain Control Environment:
+ Coordinate the scheduling, monitoring and management of internal self-attestations collaborating with Process Owners, Execution Owners and Execution teams across the enterprise.
+ Train impacted Process Owners, Execution Owners and Execution Team Members on how to complete self-attestations.
+ Lead risk assessment reviews of processes to ensure compliance, proactively manage risk, and contribute to the annual risk management process.
+ Escalate non-compliance to controls or deadlines to IT Management.
+ Ensure IT controls and governance tools and artifacts remain in alignment with the current organization and responsibilities.
+ Engage with Process Owners to understand compliance for their process(es) and make process improvement recommendations.
+ Lead teams in continuous improvement activities within the IT Control framework.
+ Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for changes/enhancements to the ServiceNow IRM module for the self-attestation process.
+ Lead projects on the continuous improvement of the IT Controls methodology.
Reporting:
+ Identify and document reporting requirements to ensure relevant risk and compliance reporting to IT management.
+ Communicate relevant risk and compliance status to appropriate Process Owners and/or Execution Owners.
**What You Have:**
+ A bachelor's degree or progressively complex experience, generally gained through assignments in Information Services and related areas (e.g., Cyber, Digital, Accounting, Engineering, Finance & Financial Products, Human Resources, Legal, Logistics, Manufacturing & Supply Chain, Marketing & Product Support, Purchasing & Procurement, etc.).
+ A proficient level of understanding and experience from more than one IT business operation and/or process including but not limited to application development and support, and infrastructure implementation and support.
+ Experience with processes, tools and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization's exposure to IT risks of various kinds, and ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations.
+ Ability to understand multiple perspectives, evaluate effectiveness and efficiency of process(es), communicate appropriately, and make recommendation(s) with a strategic enterprise perspective.
+ Preference for an auditing, compliance, cybersecurity, or risk management background and/or experience in managing risk through identification, assessment, and mitigation.
**Top Candidates Will Also Have:**
+ Prior experience(s) with identity and access management, role-based access control (RBAC), proactive risk identification, continuous control monitoring, and process maturity analysis.
+ Hands-on experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platforms, specifically ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) and/or AuditBoard.
+ Proven ability to configure, manage, and optimize workflows within these tools to support risk assessments, control monitoring, audit management, and compliance reporting.
+ Familiarity with integrating GRC tools into enterprise environments and leveraging automation for continuous control monitoring.
+ Hands-on experience with data analysis and visualization tools/platforms (Snowflake, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Excel, etc.) & techniques.
+ Strong initiative, accountability, process focus, and communication skills.
+ Experience in delivering difficult issues and messages to business partners and/or IT leadership while maintaining composure.
+ Industry and professional certification(s) (e.g., CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CIA, CPA, etc.) or be willing to obtain one within one year of starting.

* Assume primary responsibility for meeting the prospect identification and research needs of development staff, enabling them to meet fundraising goals.
* Meet regularly with these individuals to develop prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation, and overall fundraising strategies, keeping abreast of their activities and the initiatives and programs underway.|
* Consult with development staff to determine feasibility of research requests and special projects.

you must have prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware.
Job Details:
This is a 1099/per call position
Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed.
Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled
Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked
Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered.
Call volume is variable but is usually 2-5 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.
The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you.
You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)
You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided.

Must have prior hands on experience with replacing components on laptops and desktops
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Must be comfortable with daily local travel

Monitor and support LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks (UniFi, Sophos)

In this position, the IT Support Technician responds to inquiries and requests for assistance with the Agency's computer systems or PC's, installs PC's and peripherals, and installs Agency approved software.
INFORMATION PRIVACY AND SECURITY LEVEL:
In accord with federal and state legislative mandates, individuals employed in this position are trained to, and function within a Level I security clearance for confidentiality of client protected health information, and other privileged information. We are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented, and technically proficient IT Risk & Compliance Professional to join our Enterprise IT Controls team. The IT Risk & Compliance Professional acts as the primary subject matter expert and trusted advisor for Enterprise IT Controls compliance. What You Will Do:
Provide Guidance on Execution of Enterprise IT Controls:
Provide guidance and train teams on ownership, implementation, and execution of Enterprise IT Controls.
Communicate, implement, and manage organizational change of IT control changes and ownership.
Coordinate and lead training of Process Owners, Execution Owners, and Execution teams on IT Controls requirements.
Develop strong relationships with Process Owners and Execution Owners.

Sustain Control Environment:
Coordinate the scheduling, monitoring and management of internal self-attestations collaborating with Process Owners, Execution Owners and Execution teams across the enterprise.
Train impacted Process Owners, Execution Owners and Execution Team Members on how to complete self-attestations.
Lead risk assessment reviews of processes to ensure compliance, proactively manage risk, and contribute to the annual risk management process.
Escalate non-compliance to controls or deadlines to IT Management.
Ensure IT controls and governance tools and artifacts remain in alignment with the current organization and responsibilities.
Engage with Process Owners to understand compliance for their process(es) and make process improvement recommendations.
Lead teams in continuous improvement activities within the IT Control framework.
Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for changes/enhancements to the ServiceNow IRM module for the self-attestation process.

Reporting:
Identify and document reporting requirements to ensure relevant risk and compliance reporting to IT management.
Communicate relevant risk and compliance status to appropriate Process Owners and/or Execution Owners.
What You Have:
A bachelor's degree or progressively complex experience, generally gained through assignments in Information Services and related areas (e.g., Cyber, Digital, Accounting, Engineering, Finance & Financial Products, Human Resources, Legal, Logistics, Manufacturing & Supply Chain, Marketing & Product Support, Purchasing & Procurement, etc.).
A proficient level of understanding and experience from more than one IT business operation and/or process including but not limited to application development and support, and infrastructure implementation and support.
Experience with processes, tools and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization's exposure to IT risks of various kinds, and ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations.
Ability to understand multiple perspectives, evaluate effectiveness and efficiency of process(es), communicate appropriately, and make recommendation(s) with a strategic enterprise perspective.
Preference for an auditing, compliance, cybersecurity, or risk management background and/or experience in managing risk through identification, assessment, and mitigation.
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
Prior experience(s) with identity and access management, role-based access control (RBAC), proactive risk identification, continuous control monitoring, and process maturity analysis.
Hands-on experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platforms, specifically ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) and/or AuditBoard.
Proven ability to configure, manage, and optimize workflows within these tools to support risk assessments, control monitoring, audit management, and compliance reporting.
Familiarity with integrating GRC tools into enterprise environments and leveraging automation for continuous control monitoring.
Hands-on experience with data analysis and visualization tools/platforms (Snowflake, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Excel, etc.) & techniques.
Strong initiative, accountability, process focus, and communication skills.

Job Details:
This is a 1099/per call position
Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed.
Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled
Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked
Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.
Call volume is variable but is usually 2-3 calls per day in this territory
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you.
You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)
You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex location for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided.
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.

Job Summary
The Pre-professional graduate assistants are involved in the hiring process of tutors and ensuring that tutors are trained adequately to serve the community. They provide service to local families, working with school districts and after-school programs to identify students in need of program support. Duties include collaboration with local teachers to identify time slots needed and matching the availability of tutors along with the specific tutoring skills needed. Our GAs are also required to conduct site visits each semester to observe and evaluate each tutor, addressing any issues that arise. Duties also include gathering and compiling annual statistics that are provided to the Center for Civic Engagement and to the Provost Office in support of their annual report. Supervisory responsibilities include managing the weekly group chat with tutors, resolving issues and providing guidance and recommendations to tutors based on the group discussions.
Due to the nature of this program, the GA's complete administrative tasks for payroll processing each pay period, communicating with parents and teachers to validate the hours submitted and ensuring accurate submission of the tutors' time. This position provides GAs with mid-level supervisory experience. They encounter situations where they must use professional judgment in advising tutors in difficult situations, resolving matters that involve disgruntled tutors or families, analyzing policies and procedures of the program because of feedback from families and educators. These pre-professional positions work closely with the Program Coordinator in reviewing policies and procedures of the program and are involved in making recommendations of changes to the policies and procedures.
The Pre-professional graduate assistants serve as a resource to tutors and provide and secure additional resources for tutors, sometimes including assistance with developing lesson plans. GAs may also serve as a tutor for elementary students (from Preschool through 9th grade) in reading and/or math. Locations include the Illinois State University campus, local schools, public libraries, community centers, and after-school programs. GAs also perform other duties as assigned.
This position can be 28, 20, or 10 hours/week depending on need each term.

Required Qualifications

2. Must be a degree-seeking graduate student at Illinois State University in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Education (all plans), Family and Consumer Science, Human Development, Nurse Practitioner, Psychology, and the Social Work/School Social Work program.
3. Experience with working with children (tutoring and/or mentoring).
4. Professional oral and written communication skills.
5. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and ability to learn the ISU Student Information System.
6. Ability to perform tasks with limited supervision, attend to detail and remain organized.
7. Professional interpersonal skills for interacting with ISU faculty, staff, and students, as well as parents, school personnel, and children.
8. Ability to take initiative and creative control of an assignment and implement strategies to carry out the necessary tasks.
9. Ability to provide your own transportation for off-campus sites. The program assistant will tutor approximately 7-10 hours per week, enter bi-weekly posts in the tutor “group chat” website with the remaining hours spent completing administrative tasks.
10. Federal Work Study eligibility is required.
11. Must be registered for at least 3 credit hours during the summer semester.
Preferred Qualifications
1. The preferred applicant will be able to apply complex regulations and adjust to new tasks
2. Candidates with bilingual skills (fluency in Spanish) are also preferred. Program assistants with these skills will be expected to assist with in-person, email, and phone communication with Spanish-speaking families as well as translation of documents as needed.
Work Hours
1. The work hours are those in the posting for this position: Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. (These hours are optional for required tutoring placements. Graduate assistants could be scheduled to provide academic support during these times, if appropriate/approved by the Program Coordinator).
2. Graduate assistants are expected to cover office hours between 8:00 - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Program Coordinator will create/update this schedule to meet the needs of the program. Schedules will not conflict with graduate assistants' class/program commitments.
Functional Expectations
