Job Summary
The position is responsible for installation and repair of telecommunications equipment and services located in customer premises, Central Office and Data Center Locations. This role involves the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of advanced optical transport and DWDM networks. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in telecommunications infrastructure and hands-on experience with 1GIG/10GID NIDs, Cisco MPLS, Ciena6500 optical systems, ROADM, SONET networks and Dark Fiber OTRD testing.
Responsibilities
* Assemble, configure, and install electronic components supporting Ethernet, DWDM, CWDM, and ROADM technologies, following DLR and Method & Procedures documentation.
* Travel to remote customer sites and data centers to perform equipment installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
* Conduct fiber testing using OTDR, power meter/light source, and insertion loss measurements to validate and certify optical network performance.
* Analyze OTDR traces to pinpoint fiber faults, splices, connectors, and reflectance anomalies.
* Connect AC or DC power to electronic components and verify backup power functionality
* Install and route fiber and copper cabling with attention to quality, cable management, and bend-radius compliance.
* Execute testing procedures to ensure equipment and services meet Lightpath standards and service-level requirements.
* Verify and update facility/circuit inventory systems, documenting as-built changes when installations differ from design.
* Maintain professional appearance by complying with Lightpath dress code and customer-facing standards.
* Manage truck stock inventories including tools, parts and supplies.
* Ensure all equipment assigned to a work order is installed or returned as per documented Logistics procedures.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime and on-call rotation as required.
Qualifications
* 10+ years' experience in Installation, provisioning and repairing telecommunication equipment.
* Thorough understanding of all phases of network installation, including Ethernet, DWDM, CWDM, Ethernet, WAN/LAN and TCP/IP applications.
* Hands-on experience with Ciena 6500 series, including provisioning, alarms, and optical power management.
* Proficient with OTDRs (e.g., EXFO, JDSU,VeEx) and associated testing/reporting tools.
* Strong knowledge of DWDM systems, optical theory, and fiber characterization.
* HS Diploma or equivalent.
* Valid state driver's license applicable to state law.
* Good written and oral communication skills.
* Ability to persuade and use problem solving.
* Ability to operate all tools and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
Physical Requirements

Ability to use a wide variety of hand and power tools.
Climb ladders up to 10 feet in height.

How You'll Contribute:
The installationtechnician is responsible for performing a wide variety of installation duties on technology projects for our clients. This position is the key field position for the bulk of the actual work that gets done in our clients buildings. The install tech needs to coordinate with project management, field superintendents and others to fully understand their role on specific projects. They interpret our drawing packages to create the basis of the finished systems. This installation can include displays, projectors, loudspeakers, microphones, equipment racks, etc. Will also provide advice and guidance to Associate InstallationTechnicians as necessary.
Location: Must live in the Washinton DC - VA area.
What You'll Do:
Perform structured cabling installation: pull, terminate, label, and dress cables per project documentation and standards.
Complete physical installation and wiring of AV devices (displays, speakers, microphones, cameras, control interfaces, etc.).
Assemble, populate, and dress equipment racks with a high degree of workmanship and adherence to design documents.
Solder and terminate connectors according to project specifications and accepted industry practices.
Execute light physical construction tasks as required (e.g., blocking, mounting surfaces, hardware installation).
Follow Diversified's installation procedures, quality guidelines, and safety protocols with minimal deviation.
Maintain accurate daily records: timesheets, daily field reports, checklists, and as-built documentation.
Collaborate effectively with Project Managers, Engineers, and Lead Technicians to ensure project milestones are met.
Represent Diversified professionally on active job sites, including client and construction environments.
Actively participate in ongoing training and skill development toward advancing technical proficiency.
Complexity:
This level of technician will be responsible for performing tasks on clients job sites with little supervision. On smaller projects this position may be responsible for the coordination with clients, contractors and subcontractors.
Decision Making Authority:
This position is often alone on the job sites and requires making good judgement about decisions that need to be made. In general the project manager and a site supervisor are available to answer questions. This position requires good diplomacy in working with our clients and other key stakeholders on the job sites.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that may be met by an employee. The employee may be exposed to construction site conditions on a regular basis. Employee will be responsible for their safety while on job sites and to comply with all safety regulations in place by the GC. Use of PPE is usually required on job sites. The employee can typically spend at least 60% of their time on their feet and be required to mobile around the construction site. The employee must have the ability to occasionally climb ladders, use stairs and lift and/or move materials up to 40 pounds in construction areas. The individual is regularly required to use keyboards, test equipment and controls required for SI installation projects. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth vision. When not on construction sites, the employee will experience normal office conditions and be required to use office equipment such as computers, peripherals, etc.
Travel:
Frequent travel by car and occasional airplane trips are required. Employee must possess a valid driver's license in their state of residence. Employee will be required to use their own vehicle and will be reimbursed for mileage at the current corporate rate. Local travel to job sites (within a 2 hour driving distance each way) will make up 70-90% usually but remote travel can be up to 30% of the job at times. 10% remote travel is required on a regular basis.

Position Summary:

Compensation & Benefits:

What you will do
The Technology Services Operations Report Lead is responsible for analyzing, designing, and delivering project solutions while collaborating with teams to improve processes and ensure timely resolution of system issues. The TS Operations Report Lead delivers automation and portfolio data analysis and reporting for Kenvue Technology Services. You will provide technical support, manage stakeholder satisfaction, and maintain the integrity and security of operational environments:
Key Responsibilities
Baseline security architecture and interfaces in scope for automation and analytics
Create/prioritize automation & analytic backlog
Review Kenvue created tools/data/documents for conveyance that relate to automation / analytic data infrastructure
Completes Close & Accrual reporting / submissions
Create & Distribute Ad hoc reporting including rolling forecast with support of Kenvue Finance Team
Delivery of Pillar , Budget, & Purchase Orders
Lead cross-functional analysis and troubleshooting initiatives to identify operational bottlenecks, resolve system malfunctions promptly, and recommend innovative solutions for process optimization.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required or the equivalent with 4-6 years of relevant experience in technology services operations or related fields. Master's Degree preferred.
Proven expertise in project and program management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Exceptional communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with stakeholders at all organizational levels and across diverse teams.
Strong financial acumen including experience in business case development and budget management.
