Key Responsibilities:
Project focus on upgrading advanced commercial printers at retail locations.
Duties may include replacing printer parts, paper feed, power supply, changing the print head, changing toner drum, transfer belt, image unit.
Perform complex upgrades and troubleshooting of printers, servers, hard drives, and monitor systems.
Provide on-site technical support to internal or external customers in resolving complex or escalated technology issues on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment.
Install and remove equipment and systems as required.
Responsible for day-to-day operation of applications and equipment and serve as a customer contact on technical and service-related problems.
Ensure that all schedules, transmission, on-line systems, and problems are resolved in an accurate and timely manner.
Serve as a liaison between customers, departments, and within the organization to lead problem resolution and change management processes.
Determine the most cost-effective repair / resolution to minimize customer downtime.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
Key Skills; Printer experience, Hardware experience
Minimum 2 to 3 years of field service experience, specifically in commercial printers required
Must be able to do extensive traveling via plane and / or car
Must have commercial / large printer experience; Lexmark printer certification nice to have
Experience working on commercial printers and have an electronics / mechanical aptitude
Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, networks, databases and network security concepts and tools is required
Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office application suite including MS Outlook
Experience with multi-platform Windows O/S required
Working knowledge of Rufus, Windows Server imaging, photo printing experience, ability to troubleshoot system connectivity, Windows configuration
Ability to work independently in a retail environment
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Excellent customer service skills and professionalism.
Able to communicate effectively both written and verbally, with key stakeholders, leadership, partners, team members, other organizations, and customers.
Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality.

The Fiber Splicer is responsible for the installation, testing, and maintenance of fiber optic cables in underground and aerial applications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Fusion splices SM ribbon and loose tube fiber optic cables, to initiate or terminate various types of fiber optic connectors (ST, SC, LC).
Installs and tests pressurized and non-pressurized closures on all types and sizes of cable.
Analyzes and troubleshoots basic technical problems or issues.
Reviews, interprets, and works with various maps, drawings, blueprints and testing documents.
Performs daily testing and maintenance of splicing and testing equipment.
Performs optical continuity and conformance testing.
Makes splicing rearrangements on existing facilities in underground, aerial and building work locations.
Adheres to company policies, regulations, procedures, and principles.
All other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
1-3 Years Experience with installation and testing of fiber optic cables.
Working knowledge of using various fusion splicing and optical testing equipment including, Alcoa Fujikura, GN Net Test, EXFO, Fitel, Sumitomo, and Viavi.
Working knowledge of GS150 and GS350 Fiber Jetters.
Ability to climb and work at elevations (e.g., from ladders, poles, lift trucks, etc.).
Ability to work in confined spaces.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The scope of work to be performed by the electronic technician communications includes, but is not limited to, providing a central clearing-house point for Amtrak communications circuit problems. Utilize digital computer hardware and remote microprocessor-controlled equipment to provide technical and troubleshooting assistance to field personnel in order to correct problems. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Applicants may be required to qualify for the position by passing the electronic technician examination for communications prepared by System Communications Engineering Department.
* The technician must be familiar with the division reporting structure, possess knowledge of data and voice circuit electronics, and have general knowledge of electronics.
* Must be capable of learning, understanding, and maintaining Amtrak's cable plant.
* Must be a minimum of 18 years of age and have a HS diploma or GED.
* Applicants must have a valid driver's license on the date of hire.

Process field data and generate accurate base maps and digital terrain models (DTMs).
Ensure CAD deliverables meet NYC agency CAD standards, coordinate systems, and layer naming conventions.
Collaborate with field crews, project managers, and engineers to maintain data consistency and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare record maps, easement maps, as-built drawings, and legal description exhibits.
Organize and manage CAD files and survey data efficiently across multiple projects.
Support proposal and QA/QC efforts by maintaining documentation and CAD templates.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of CAD drafting experience in land surveying or civil design.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (required); familiarity with MicroStation.
Demonstrated experience with New York City and State agency projects (MTA, DDC, DEP, DOT, Parks, etc.).
Strong understanding of survey data processing, coordinate systems, and geospatial references.
Preferred Qualification
Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.
Associate degree or higher in Surveying, Civil Technology, or related field preferred.

Job Responsibilities
Travel (up to 3 to 5 days per week) around the Northeast, mostly focused in New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts
Installation of coaxial cable and terminations
Installation of fiber cables, splicing, and terminations
Perform a variety of testing, including radio and cellular RF surveys, cable testing (sweep, PIM), OTDR fiber testing, etc.
Troubleshooting systems and electronics as needed
Complete job-related documentation
Keep team, customer, other stakeholders informed of job progress

Comfortable using hand/power tools, working from ladders, being on the move all day
Travel (3 to 5 days per week) to project locations primarily in NY, NJ, and MA
Valid driver license with clear driving record and reliable transportation
