Correctional Officers II provide supervisory work involving the custody, treatment and training of incarcerated individuals confined within a correctional facility. Supervises correctional staff and incarnated Individuals in a correctional setting. Supervision and technical assistances are provided to lower ranking officers in a unit, or as part of their on-the-job training. Work is performed in accordance with standard operating procedures of the facility , and under the supervision of a shift supervisor or a technical superior who makes assignments and reviews work through personal observation and report May conduct transportation of medication form clinical facility to the correctional facility which includes verifying correct medication and count. The 2-2-3 schedule offers predictable work hours, flexibility, and longer stretches of consecutive days off for you to rest and recharge and a 3-day weekend every other week.
