Job Responsibilities Development Execution & Timeline Management Own day-to-day execution of the footwear development process from concept handoff through production readiness. Manage seasonal development calendars, ensuring on-time delivery of prototypes, SMS samples, and production approvals. Track and communicate development status, risks, and dependencies to the Director of Product Creation. Technical Development & Product Integrity Translate design concepts into technically sound, manufacturable footwear while preserving design intent. Own construction details, pattern execution, sizing, grading, and fit consistency across styles. Identify and resolve technical issues related to comfort, durability, and performance throughout development. Materials & Component Execution Execute material and component development in partnership with design. Validate materials for quality, performance, lead times, and cost feasibility. Manage material approvals and substitutions as needed to maintain timelines and margin targets. Ensure all development documentation is accurate, complete, and production-ready at handoff. Fit, Wear Testing & Quality Readiness Lead fit sessions, wear testing, and functional evaluations; document feedback and drive corrective actions. Ensure products meet Wolf & Shepherd standards for comfort, performance, and craftsmanship prior to production sign-off. Factory & Vendor Coordination Communicate technical specifications, construction requirements, and revision updates clearly and consistently. Troubleshoot factory-level development and sampling issues and escalate when necessary. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Design to ensure smooth handoff from concept to development execution. Work cross-functionally with Sourcing, Operations, and Production to support smooth transition from development to bulk manufacturing. Participate in line reviews, sample reviews, and internal milestone meetings as needed. Qualifications At least 3 years of professional experience in footwear development, product development, or a related technical footwear role. Strong understanding of footwear construction, materials, and manufacturing processes. Experience working directly with overseas factories and material suppliers. Proven ability to manage multiple styles and timelines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts. Collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Responsible for providing direct services to clients: Assist with client crises as needed (life skills, conflicts resolution, safety planning, etc.) using trauma-informed de-escalation and mediation techniques. Ensure implementation of empowerment model, harm reduction and trauma informed care methodologies. Provide crisis intervention, safety planning, resources and eligibility screenings for program services for potential program participants via Sojourn 24-hour hotline for DV crisis per DV best practices and standards. The essential functions include: * Provide 24/7 direct supervision and support to Non-Minor Dependents (NMDs) in a safe, trauma-informed, and nurturing residential environment. * Implement individualized care plans and routines as designed by clinical and program staff, ensuring consistency and structure. * Coach and support NMDs in developing and maintaining daily living skills such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, money management, and time management. * Support the nursing department with tasks related to clients ongoing medical care including providing support for daily living skills, information needed for medical charting and other relevant tasks. * Facilitate and participate in structured recreational, educational, and social activities designed to promote positive peer interactions and personal growth. * Help youth acquire socially appropriate behaviors and interpersonal skills through role modeling, encouragement, and consistent reinforcement. * Assist residents in identifying and achieving personal goals related to independence, education, employment, and emotional wellness. * Engage residents in meaningful conversation and group discussions during meals, activities, and downtime to build rapport and support development. * Monitor residents' emotional and behavioral needs, respond appropriately to crisis situations, and maintain documentation in accordance with agency protocols. * Utilize positive behavior support techniques and appropriate disciplinary interventions to encourage accountability and self-regulation. * Collaborate as an active member of the treatment team in the development and review of TILP and NSPs. * Maintain accurate, timely, and professional documentation of observations, incidents, and progress in case records and daily logs. * Promote a clean, safe, and home-like cottage environment by guiding residents in housekeeping tasks and ensuring facility cleanliness is maintained. * Transport residents to appointments, activities, and outings as needed using agency vehicles. * Participate in regular staff trainings, supervision, and team meetings to support continuous learning and program improvement. * Demonstrate professionalism, cultural humility, and emotional maturity in interactions with youth, coworkers, and external stakeholders. * Other duties as required EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATES * High School Diploma required * AA (60 units) or Bachelor's Degree preferred * Experience in direct care and/or previous training in de-escalation, daily living supports and/or neurodevelopmental strategies * Valid California driver's license * Have and maintain an acceptable driving record, subject to periodic review * Must provide proof of personal auto insurance acceptable to Hillsides' insurance carrier TRAUMA INFORMED CARE (TIC) Hillsides practices Trauma Informed Care (TIC) principles which recognizes the signs, symptoms, and widespread impact of trauma; Employees are asked to comprehensively integrate knowledge of Trauma Informed Care into policies, procedures, and practices with the goal to prevent re-traumatization which promotes healing of families, youth, individuals, and communities.
