Bus Driver - Tybee Island/Burton

Overview:


This is a semi-skilled part-time position at the Burton 4-H Center on Tybee Island operating buses. The work involves responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of vehicular equipment and usually involves some equipment maintenance duties and other semi-skilled work relating to the equipment and building maintenance activities.
Responsibilities:

* Drive bus with students to and from field study sites (80% of time)

* Drive to local schools to pick-up or drop-off local day groups (10% of time)

* Clean buses to include sweeping, washing windshield, and dashboard (10% of time)

Qualifications:

* Requires at least a high school diploma or equivalent

* Experience in the operation of bus or truck; or any equivalent combination of training and experience

* Physical demands include sitting for long periods of time and occasional light lifting in an indoor and outdoor environment
