Senior Research Technician

Overview:


The Senior Research Technician will support research projects in the Peach laboratory by performing field and laboratory duties. This is a temporary, non-exempt position that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:

* Perform field and laboratory duties to support research projects in the Peach laboratory

* Assist in the design, implementation, and analysis of research experiments

* Collect and record data, and maintain accurate and detailed records

* Collaborate with research scientists and other laboratory staff to ensure the successful completion of research projects

* Perform routine laboratory maintenance and troubleshooting

* Lift 50lbs. and perform physical duties as required

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. biology, chemistry, engineering)

* Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

* Physical Demands: Lift 50lbs.
