This critical role focuses on electrical system installation, troubleshooting, and repair within a manufacturing environment to ensure operational uptime and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of complex electrical distribution systems including 480V 3-phase power, transformers, circuit breakers, contactors, relays, motor starters, and disconnect switches. Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits, motor control centers (MCC), and programmable logic controllers (PLCs), with emphasis on Allen-Bradley and other industry-standard platforms. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), servo drives, and other motor control devices to optimize machine performance. Calibrate, maintain, and repair pneumatic and electro-pneumatic control systems, including solenoid valves, pressure transducers, and electronic sensors. Perform wiring and rewiring tasks involving conduit bending, cable tray installation, wire pulling, termination, and splicing in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and OSHA regulations. Conduct predictive and preventative maintenance programs utilizing advanced diagnostic tools such as digital multimeters, megohmmeters (megger), clamp meters, infrared thermography, and insulation resistance testers.
