Compensation
The base hourly rate for this position is $35.29.

As an Industrial Electrician, you'll play a critical part in maintaining and improving our electrical and instrumentation systems, supporting both production excellence and workplace safety.
Hourly Rate: $35.29
Shift: Rotating shifts available
Shift Premiums:
Day Shift (12-hour): $0.75 per hour
Night Shift (12-hour): $1.00 per hour
Your Day-to-Day:
Work collaboratively with plant management and team members to ensure safe and efficient operations.
PLC Expertise: Proficient in Allen-Bradley, ABB, and Siemens PLCs; troubleshoot system issues using PLCs.
Robotics: Experience with FANUC robotics preferred.
Maintain and troubleshoot power distribution systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems (multi-craft skills required).
Inspect, assemble, and install electrical circuits, systems, instrumentation, and equipment (motors, regulators, controllers, generators, switchgear).
Diagnose and repair electrical equipment and machinery; document findings and schedule maintenance.
Stay current with technology trends in electrical control, AC/DC drives, PLCs, HMIs, and industrial lighting.
Configure, commission, troubleshoot, and start up AC/DC drives, HMIs, PLCs, DCS, and other control devices with minimal engineering assistance.
Document all electrical changes with updated drawings.
Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Plan and prioritize work efficiently while adhering to all city, state, and federal electrical codes.
Follow all Johns Manville safety procedures and policies.
What You Bring to the Team:
High School Diploma required.
Two years of formal technical training in electrical and instrumentation crafts.
5-10 years of Industrial Electrician/E&I experience.
AutoCAD experience a plus.
Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs; tolerate heights and extreme temperatures.
Comfortable working in all weather conditions.
Strong hearing, vision, color perception, and manual dexterity; ability to perform close work and analyze blueprints, charts, and diagrams.
Computer skills required.
Must supply basic hand tools, including electrical meters.
Respirator and hearing protection required in some areas.
Willingness to work any shift.

Work Environment
This job is in an industrial, manufacturing environment. The job requires working frequently around and with heavy machinery with moving mechanical parts, industrial ovens, and mobile equipment. The environment is not climate controlled and employees must be able to work in environments that may be extremely hot and humid or cold depending upon the operation and the season. Walking surfaces can be wet, dusty, and uneven. Areas of the building where work must be done have high noise levels, vibration, and/or fumes. Some working areas contain the presence of airborne particles which can irritate the skin or eyes. The manufacturing process involves toxic or caustic chemicals. Employees are required to wear personal protective equipment which includes steel toed shoes, ear protection, eye protection , respirators, gloves and head protection.
