Role Summary:
The pricing team is responsible for the commercial approval of orders brought into the business, from small deals up to multi-million-pound bids. They also provide reporting information on prices and margins that allow the larger business decisions to be taken.
Job Scope/Supervision:
The pricing team works closely with the bid management team to ensure that GTT can provide fast responses to any RFPs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Develop an understanding of the cost base of all of GTT's products and services.
* Engage with Pricing Manager and assist in pricing deals and bids.
* Price non-standard deals manually, where required.
* Escalate other pricing requests to the relevant Product Manager as fast and efficiently as possible.
* Facilitate the rapid closure of deals while also optimizing GTT's margins.
* Assist the bid team with bid coordination when required.
