General Duties: During the winter season, this person is responsible for helping oversee the operation of Base Lodge Rental, located on the 2

story of the Base Lodge. Base Lodge Rentals is a full-service rental and repair shop. Business levels vary depending on the weather and time of season. Base Lodge Rentals is open 7 days a week during ski operations (December - April) and during night operations 2 days a week. Working holidays, nights, and weekends is an accepted part of the job. Must be able to start position in November to prep shop for opening day. Snowsports experience is required.

Job Specifications:
High School Graduate, with continuing education preferred
Past proven experience in a rental/repair operation required
Proven past supervisory experience required
Experience working directly with the public required
Knowledge of ski/snowboard industry required
Experience working in a tune/repair shop preferred
Past binding certification training preferred
Boot fitting experience preferred
RTP knowledge preferred
Microsoft Suite experience preferred
Specific Duties:
Assist with all aspects of Base Lodge Rental
o Assist in training, scheduling, disciplinary actions, and employee evaluations
o Ability to understand reporting provided by management and RTP to check status and make adjustments, including but not limited to daily flashes and overdue reports
o Retain all rental/repair forms as per company, manufacturer and insurance policies
o Assist with daily and weekly auditing of overdue rentals and ski storage
o Ensure all forms are completed accurately
o Participate in WMR safety programs
o Assist with Safety checklists and/or trainings
o Learn and utilize budgets to help make purchasing decisions
o Assist with employee timecards and make corrections as necessary
Work closely with other Rental and Retail Departments
o Work together to move equipment between Base/Village depending on business demands
o Update inventory in RTP re: overdues, returns or transfers to other locations
Ensure the ski rental maintenance program is adhered to
Assist in running an efficient rental operation
Learn and implement RTP POS system
Ensure efficient guest flow through shop in order to keep lines orderly and moving at adequate levels depending on the time of season
Complete all other job duties as specified in the Rental Supervisor Job Duties
Knowledgeable about new products and rental opportunities as appropriate
Work closely with Group Sales to ensure all group rentals are fulfilled satisfactorily
Ability to work within framework of Rental & WMR policies and procedures
Must be able to meet individual and team goals
Support Guest Services Cross-Sell Plan, Rental Business Plan
o Make recommendations as necessary
Be an advocate of excellent guest service.
Ensure that guests are taken care of in a friendly, efficient manner
Ability to deal with difficult guests and be solutions orientated
Ensure staff meet expected levels of guest service
Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
Willingness to assist in any other activities within the WMR organization to develop teamwork with other departments and associates.
Must be able to function effectively with guests and staff.
Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
Safety & Wellness:
All team members must be on constant alert for any unsafe conditions and work behaviors. This will involve, but not be limited to, periodic inspections of work and public areas. Follow up notification will be done to correct the condition or practice at the earliest possible opportunity.
Work Environment:
Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
Ability to be on one's feet for extended time periods up to 5-7 hours.
Includes light to moderate physical activity, including bending, stooping, lifting etc. on a routine basis.
Work on weekends, holidays, and some evenings are part of the responsibilities associated with this position.
