I worked for KBR for over 20 years. They treat all the employees like family. Show up, do your job and you will see the rewards
Roofing is a seasonal business and therefore there will be periods of low hours and periods of ultra OT. It's just the nature of construction
The Christmas Parties are always fun. But yhe best benefits are the ones many don't use. KBR offers a 401(k) plan with a match AND they are an ESOP which means all employees are issued shares of stock every year. Hard to beat that perk.
The management team mostly all worked in the field at one time or another. They know exactly the problems you might run into on a job
Company culture isn't much different than some of the other larger construction companies. Do your job and they treat you well
For my interview, I learned all I could about single ply roofing and sheet metal roofs
KBR has to be competitive in the market or the employees will go elsewhere. 100 +/- employees working at KBR, many for 15 years or more, speaks well of their compensation plans
I am a proponents of skills over DEI hiring. That being said, KBR still has managed to have 60% - 80% minorities working at all times at all levels including management
