He is active in his community and currently serves on the Baptist Medical Center South Board of Directors as the Chairman. He has also been an active member of the Rotary Club of Deerwood for many years. One of his proudest achievements has been serving as a youth sports coach for both recreational leagues and with high schoolers as an assistant football coach.
