We are seeking a Fertility Care Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility- Ohio in Westerville, OH. This full-time, onsite role working from Monday - Friday 6:45 AM to 2:45 PM with a monthly Saturday rotation. Key Responsibilities Greet and check-in patients, verify medical history, and update their information. Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments. Perform diagnostic tasks such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, and administering injections. Prepare examination rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are stocked and ready. Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR). Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, including follow-ups and referrals. Educate patients on treatment plans, medication protocols, and preventive care measures. Adhere to infection control and safety standards to maintain a clean and organized environment. Assist with inventory management and clinical supply ordering. Respond to patient inquiries and provide outstanding customer service. Perform other duties and support special projects as assigned. Position Requirements Education & Licensure: High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a Medical Assistant program strongly preferred. Maintain current BLS/CPR certification. Experience & Skills: Experience as a Medical Assistant preferred. Phlebotomy experience is a plus. Ultrasound experience is a plus. Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities. Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to empathize with patients. Compensation & Benefits Hourly Rate: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour (final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications). The Care Promoter, Specialist is an integral member of a Physician-lead Care Team that is focused on providing excellent and comprehensive primary care for a specific population of patients. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Measures and records patient vital signs; records patient interview and medical history. Collaborates with care team to ensure specialist related medical records and consult notes are obtained. Catalogs and communicates patient needs to the Specialist, PCP, Clinician, and/or other clinical personnel. Maintains supplies, equipment, stocks and sterilizes instruments; practices OSHA safety standards; performs accurate, legal, and ethical documentation at all times. In partnership with care facilitator team, greets patients and schedules appointments upon check-out. Serves as the gatekeeper for Specialist schedules including, but not limited to ensuring all patients have follow up appointments with PCP and Specialist. Works in conjunction with Care Facilitators to ensure all appointments for the following day are confirmed and all missed appointments are rescheduled appropriately. Works in conjunction with Care Coordinators to ensure Specialist orders are completed and patients scheduled accordingly. Presents patients with customer service survey during check out and escalates if needed for immediate service recovery. Processes patient phone messages, returning calls and routing them to other team members as appropriate; calls patients to obtain and relay pertinent information for the physician.
