In 2008, Legacy launched its middle school for grades seventh and eighth to provide students with the best preparation for success in high school and beyond.
In 2008, Legacy Academy became Legacy Christian Academy, dedicated to the pursuit of academic excellence and the development of Christian character.
In February 2009, five couples from various walks of life came together to discuss a common vision—to see a Classical Christian school formed in McMinn County.
Also in 2009, the board along with selected advisors, hired the school’s first Headmaster, and shortly thereafter, the faculty.
Legacy Christian Academy has been certified as a Best Christian Workplace 2016.
