YOUR ROLE
The Customer Success Professional II independently manages day-to-day customer success activities for assigned Contract Logistics accounts. This role builds on foundational experience and requires the ability to manage customer relationships, identify service or retention risks, and support incremental growth opportunities.
Reporting to the Customer Success Supervisor, the CSP II acts as a trusted point of contact for customers, supports renewals and service expansions, and contributes to consistent commercial and operational execution.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Customer Engagement & Account Management
• Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for assigned customer accounts.
• Build strong working relationships with customer stakeholders to understand operational needs and service expectations.
• Participate actively in customer meetings, performance reviews, and issue resolution discussions.
Revenue & Retention Support
• Support contract renewals, service expansions, and upsell opportunities through customer insights and operational data.
• Identify potential retention risks or service gaps and proactively escalate recommendations to the Supervisor.
• Assist in preparing business cases, proposals, and renewal documentation.
Performance & Financial Awareness
• Monitor service performance, volumes, and basic cost drivers for assigned accounts.
• Analyze trends and performance issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure accurate billing inputs and coordination with Finance and Operations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Coordinate closely with Operations, Solutions Design, and Finance to ensure service alignment and customer satisfaction.
• Support onboarding of new customers or services within existing accounts.
• Share feedback and best practices to improve customer success execution.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3-5 years of experience in customer success, account management, logistics operations, or a related commercial support role.
• Experience managing customer interactions in a B2B or contract logistics environment preferred.
Skills & Attributes
• Strong customer relationship and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts or priorities.
• Solid understanding of service performance metrics and operational drivers.

Set up freight BOLs and track all shipping orders.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Required:
Safety and Compliance: Establish, enforce, and monitor stringent health, safety, and environmental (EHS) policies and procedures in line with federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA and hazardous material handling requirements. This includes managing all required personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols.
Inventory Management: Control inventory levels of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods through physical counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation with data storage systems (WMS/ERP), ensuring high accuracy. Monitor inventory expiration dates and manage non-conforming products.
Operations Oversight: Plan, organize, and manage daily operations including receiving, storing, staging materials for production lines, shipping, and distribution. Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency. Championing continuous improvement of production processes through application of 5S and LEAN manufacturing practices.
Production Coordination: Liaise directly with the production/plant manager, quality assurance, and planning departments to ensure the seamless flow of materials for manufacturing and timely dispatch of finished products to customers. Participate in incident investigations and assist in development and initiation of corrective and preventive actions.
Team Leadership and Management: Recruit, hire, train, coach, and manage warehouse staff, setting performance goals, preparing work schedules, and fostering a safe and productive work environment. Ensure compliance with the current ISO9001 standards.
Logistics and Documentation: Coordinate with suppliers, clients, and transportation companies, managing logistics for transporting chemicals and related products and ensuring all necessary documentation (e.g., shipping records, safety data sheets) is accurate and complete.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the safe use and regular maintenance of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, racking systems, and other machinery.
Budgeting and Reporting: Prepare and manage the annual budget for the warehouse, analyze variances, track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and generate regular reports on warehouse activities and performance for upper management review.

Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements:
Required:
Experience: Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably within a chemical, manufacturing, or similarly regulated industrial environment.
Certifications/Knowledge:
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong knowledge of federal and state safety and environmental regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT).
Forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
Certification to provide training in hazardous material transportation may be required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems (like Deacom), and standard computer software (MS Office).
Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Preferred:
Direct knowledge of specific warehousing processes
Experience with Lean Manufacturing and 5S
Associate or bachelor's degree
Experience interacting directly with customers and technical staff
