Supervise and train maintenance technicians to ensure safe, efficient work practices. Prioritize and schedule work orders using a work order management system. Full-time Description Reports To The Lead Maintenance Technician will report to the Facilities and Operations Manager. The role will be responsible for general and routine maintenance and repair duties in the facility to ensure the building and equipment are operational, safe, and well maintained. Responsibilities and Duties Perform tasks as assigned by the Facility Manager. Oversee, direct, and train Maintenance Helpers. Assist in the direction and oversight of subcontractors on-site. Move and set up office furniture, and computer equipment when necessary. Perform maintenance and repair on the roof top units, such as filter changes, grease bearings, and replace belts. Maintain and work from tickets generated by our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software. Grease forklifts, pallet jacks, exhaust fans, trash compactor, and cardboard balers. Lubricate the rollers, hinges, and chains on overhead doors. Clean out the exhaust ducts on the engravers. Clean and disinfect the icemakers. Maintenance and repair of powder coat equipment. Maintenance and repair of production equipment including but not limited to CNC laser, CNC press brake, CNC drills, saws, etc.. Rebuild and repair equipment in off-seasons to prepare for the next use cycle. Maintain a clean and organized work area, and material storage area. Snow removal and application of ice melt for sidewalks, pedestrian doors, emergency exits, and overhead doors. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Qualifications High school education. Minimum of two years training in facility maintenance and repair. Minimum of two years experience in facility maintenance and repair. Strong trades skills and mechanical abilities. Strong communication skills. Safe and efficient use of a wide variety of hand and power tools. Acquire or develop appropriate maintenance and troubleshooting documentation to assure effective and consistent procedures for equipment maintenance. Ensure appropriate use of computerized maintenance record systems to contribute to efficiency of operations and to assure availability of information for future decisions relating to Plant Engineering functions. + Understands and follows global financial standards applicable to the position.
