Primary Purpose of Position
Plan and prepare work packages for work to be performed by the respective maintenance departments to ensure that the Clean Energy Center (CEC) maintenance is performed in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner, in compliance with the Quality Assurance (QA) manual, company policies, procedures, and applicable codes and standards.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
Plan and prepare work instructions that provide direction to the Maintenance Department for corrective maintenance repairs, performance of preventive maintenance and surveillance's, and the implementation of modifications. Select and approve purchase, or make procurement recommendations for all materials needed for work package execution.
Conduct field walkdowns to identify and analyze corrective and preventive maintenance, modification, and surveillance activities and to provide input for refining and improving work package quality. Interface and collaborate with Work Management, Supply, Operations, and Engineering to identify and resolve work package issues.
Define procedures, drawings, equipment, and materials required to perform planned work packages. Facilitate package preparation by preparing and/or submitting Out of Service (OOS's), Radiation Work Permit (RWP's), plant barrier impairments, welding/grinding permits, fire impairments, Operability impact statements, As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) task outs, Regulatory/Code documentation, Nuclear Oversight (NOS) hold/witness points, freeze seal and temporary leak repair documentation, and other requests.
Verify work instructions are adequate and comply with all applicable CEC procedures including Nuclear Safeguard Protocol (NSPs), National Strategy for Space Nuclear Power and Propulsion (NSWPs), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Code, etc. Approve and review all required work packages to ensure safety, high quality, technical rigor, and 10CFR50.59 screening or evaluation (if required).
Develop revise, and review maintenance procedures to facilitate and enhance work package development, maintain compliance with codes, standards, and vendor recommendation, and maintenance direction.
Provide project management of other system planners or contractors to develop detailed elements of overall package preparation.
Participate in work control/scheduling meetings, planning feedback/craft interface time, detailed contract requisition reviews, complex troubleshooting, EQR2 reviews, detailed Operating Experience (OPEX) searches, Maintenance risk request reviews, Planner peer reviews, and system interaction reviews to ensure applicable CEC processes and applicable changes are supported.
Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 2 years of related experience OR
Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license with 2 years of related experience OR
Associate's degree with 3 years of related experience OR
High school diploma/GED with 4 years of related experience
Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
Preferred Qualifications

Duties and Responsibilities:

JOB SUMMARY:
The Production Maintenance Manager is responsible for maintenance of all equipment used in the manufacturing and packaging of drug products at the Rochester N.Y. site. The person in this position provides administrative and technical supervision to all Production Maintenance Mechanics.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production Equipment Meets Requirements for Effective Business Operations (50%)
* Develops and manages projects required to provide equipment required to support the business plan.
* Coordinates scheduled and emergency maintenance, repair and improvements to equipment. Manages ERP work order system and assigns work orders and PM's to staff.
* Identifies future maintenance and/or equipment resources required to meet the business plan.
* Orders parts for preventative maintenance, work orders, routine jobs, and emergency repairs.
* Oversees management of the Preventative Maintenance Program to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained from a functional efficiency standpoint and in compliance with the FDA requirements to have and use a formalized equipment maintenance system.
* Participates in the Quality Improvement Program by performing investigations, writing response reports, and implementing corrective actions for CAPA's that fall within the responsibility of Production Maintenance.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

What You'll Do
This is a safety-sensitive, first-line supervisory position responsible for performing a variety of functions relative to the safe and efficient maintenance and repair of all RTS revenue and non-revenue vehicle maintenance, and several RTS buildings and facilities. What You'll Do
This is a safety-sensitive, first-line supervisory position responsible for
performing a variety of functions relative to the safe and efficient maintenance
and repair of all RTS revenue and non-revenue vehicle maintenance, and several
RTS buildings and facilities. Work is performed under the general supervision of
the Manager of Fleet Maintenance. This position is expected to open and close
the Service Building operations and oversee Service Building employees on
weekends, in addition to the Garage.
Complete welding, brazing, cutting torch work, and assist with towing/road
calls.
Conduct safety inspections and ensure proper documentation.
Perform alignments and support repairs on articulated and standard buses.
Work safely, efficiently, and meet competency standards.
Other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
High School Diploma or GED
Must obtain a NY State Commercial Driver's License, Class B and any
applicable endorsements within 6-months from the hire date (Required to obtain
Class B permit prior to start date).
Other Requirements
Must have own tools
Must obtain a NYS CDL Class B permit with passenger & air brake endorsements
before start, and full Class B license within 90 days
Must obtain a CDL Class A permit and towing endorsement (may be after hire)
and full Class A license within 90 days of permit
English proficiency required for safety-sensitive communication, manuals,
and job instructions
Consideration Will Be Given To The Following Factors:
Education attained beyond high school.
ASE Certification.
Mechanical and Technical Repair Background/Experience.
Relevant Previous Work Experience.
Relevant Supervisory Experience (may include responsibility for performance
review and disciplinary actions).
