ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform janitorial services for the facility by performing the following job duties: Clean and maintain in an orderly condition facility working areas and washrooms, or premises of an office, etc. Follow safety procedures in the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment. Sweep/vacuum, and mop floors. Remove trash and other refuse. Dust equipment, furniture, or fixtures. Clean lavatories, showers, and restrooms. Distribute facility supplies and provide other minor maintenance services. Ship, receive, store, or move materials within a warehouse, loading dock, factory, and yard or storage area. Transport materials to and from, or between local company locations, as well as vendors utilized by the Company. Pack finished products for shipment or storage as part of the manufacturing production process. Keep outside grounds clean of debris. Sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, and perform other incidental seasonal tasks. Maintain and clean exterior surfaces such as sidewalks and parking areas utilizing power blowers and pressure washers, and manual cleaning/maintenance equipment. Pressure wash terminal equipment. Load and unload spare parts and cores. Pickup and deliver material, spare parts, and cores as needed. Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks. Perform minor routine maintenance on facility equipment. Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems. Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks, utilizing mowing, edging, and other tools. Assist other employees when needed.
