The role includes oversight of clinical care activities provided by ARNPs, documentation, and after-hours on-call responsibilities. This position performs minor procedures and collaborates with psychiatric and interdisciplinary staff to ensure integrated care. Physicians also educate patients and families, ensure compliance with safety procedures, and tailor treatment plans to the patient's age and development. Travel may be required depending on facility needs, and work is primarily in correctional or clinical settings. Responsibilities The Multi-Site Medical Director / Physician provides clinical oversight to the multiple facility's medical program, adhering to existing policies and procedures for admission, transfer, and referrals. They supervise the care given by other personnel and provide consultation for all professionals in the system.
