The Heavy Equipment Lube Tech is responsible for fueling, greasing, and performing routine service checks on heavy construction equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. This role supports mechanics and operators by maintaining proper fluid levels, performing preventative maintenance tasks, and identifying potential issues before they become major repairs. Key Responsibilities Fuel, grease, and service heavy equipment daily in compliance with company standards. Inspect and maintain fluid levels (engine oil, coolant, hydraulic oil, transmission fluid, etc.). Perform routine inspections to identify leaks, loose parts, and visible wear. Operate lube/fuel truck safely and efficiently to service equipment across job sites. Track and log service records for all equipment maintained. Report any mechanical or safety issues to mechanics and supervisors immediately. Assist mechanics with minor repairs and preventive maintenance as needed. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and company regulations. Keep equipment and fueling areas clean and organized. The Production Mechanic I is responsible for Preventive Maintenance (PM) and maintenance of production equipment. This role is to troubleshoot issues, repair failures of production and processing equipment and ensure maximum equipment efficiency, effectiveness, and reliability.
