Performs preliminary intake of vitals and determines need for immunizations, lead screening, preventative exams, and other health maintenance recommendations for specific age groups.

Physical Demands

A minimum of one year of experience in a medical practice is preferred. Completion of formal education will be taken into consideration.
Understanding of OSHA guidelines for ambulatory practices.
Understanding of medical record documentation standards.
Understanding of medical coding based on the medical record notes to ensure accurate billing.
Comfortable using email and interacting with Internet applications.
Knowledge of electronic medical records, practice management and word processing software.
Good communication skills and interaction with physicians.
Neat, professional appearance.

* Performs audiometry and vision testing.
* Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
