Manager:
We are seeking individuals that can be part of a team that conducts software product and technology due diligence assessments on target organizations for private equity clients and their portfolio companies. In this role, managers conduct software product and technology assessments focused on the following key areas: product features / functionality and product roadmaps; technology and architecture; intellectual property and open source; R&D organization and processes, including the software development lifecycle; R&D OpEx and CapEx expenditures; and hosting infrastructure

A&M's Private Equity Performance Improvement Services (PEPI) practice, with offices throughout the US, focuses on serving the middle market and large cap private equity firms who have engaged A&M to help improve operating results at their portfolio companies.

How You Will Contribute
We are seeking individuals that can lead and deliver large, complex client engagements, working closely with PE leadership to identify, design, and implement creative business solutions for their portfolio companies. Directors frequently lead the following types of engagements:
* Gain a comprehensive understanding of a target's manufacturing and distribution operations-- organization design, production capacity, efficiency, quality, planning, warehousing and team capability

Qualifications:
* 10-15 plus years of combined professional industry and consulting experience, with a minimum of 4 years specializing in manufacturing and/or distribution functions
* Previous advisory experience from a top-tier strategy firm, leading specialist, niche advisory firm, or Big-4 consultancy REQUIRED
* Experience working for or with private equity sponsors and portfolio companies. Deep functional expertise in one of more of the following areas:
* Supply Chain Operations
* Manufacturing Operations, SI&OP
* Footprint optimization, plant consolidation and product line transfer
* Manufacturing strategy, CapEx planning, Manufacturing 4.0/IIoT

The salary range is $150,000--$225,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. Provide technical assistance to EEC licensed programs, EEC staff, and background check applicants regarding reading and understanding BRC reports including state and national Criminal History Record Information (CHRI), Massachusetts Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI), Sexual Offender Record Information (SORI), and Department of Children & Families (DCF) supported 51B reports.
Provide technical assistance to EEC licensed programs, EEC staff, and background check applicants regarding the application of EEC's BRC regulations, policies and procedures.
Maintain confidentiality of BRC information in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations concerning the access to and dissemination of the information.
Receive and review CORI results from the Massachusetts Department of Criminal Justice Information Systems (DCJIS), determine the appropriate crime category and code EEC CORI database accordingly.

The CSIS Europe, Russia, and Eurasia (ERE) program seeks to develop a deeper understanding of Europe's political, security, and economic evolution and its future role in the world; geopolitical developments in the circumpolar Arctic; the implications of Russia's foreign and defense policies for transatlantic security; and political and economic developments in Russia and Eurasia.
The research internship will focus on ERE's Russia portfolio. More specifically, an intern will provide research assistance within a project funded by the Russia Strategic Initiative, U.S. European Command. The project is looking at Russia's key defense firms, various internal and external factors impacting production rates and product quality, along with Moscow's overall defense industrial manufacturing capacity.
Tentative internship start and end dates are February 2, 2026 and May 29, 2026. The internship will be part-time (around 20 hours per week) and can be hybrid, with both virtual and in-person components, depending on the candidate's location and availability.
The hired candidates will be paid hourly, commensurate with experience ($18.00/hour for current undergraduate hires, $19.00/hour for hires with a bachelor's degree, and $20.00/hour for hires with a master's degree).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
