Adam Vanek is the chief executive officer of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD). Throughout his career, he has built a portfolio of transformational achievements in private, public and nonprofit corporations. He has extensive nonprofit experience, previously serving as National General Counsel for MADD and, more recently, Susan G. Komen in Dallas. During his previous tenure at MADD, from 2011 to 2017, Vanek led efforts to overhaul many core practices, policies and procedures. He also played a high-profile role in strengthening MADD’s public image and influence, helping further MADD’s mission through legal advocacy, jurisprudence and serving as legal expert in drunk driving and traffic safety. A motivational, results-driven leader who seeks the best in his team, as well as himself, Vanek is known for his practical legal mind and sharp business acumen, tearing down department silos and uniting staff to achieve shared goals. He is a graduate of Wake Forest Law School, where he served on the Honors and Ethics Board. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University, where he was named a College of Business Administration Fellow and awarded the Buck Weirus Spirit Award for student service. Vanek is licensed to practice law in Texas and Washington, D.C. He worked in private practice for almost 13 years before joining MADD in 2011. Beyond his career achievements, Vanek is committed to community service. He is a member of the North Texas Crime Commission, Dallas Bar Association, Leadership Dallas Alumni Association and the Dallas Junior Chamber of Commerce Foundation. He has also served as national legal counsel and board member of the U.S. Junior Chamber of Commerce, and as president and board member of both the Texas Junior Chamber of Commerce and the Dallas Junior Chamber of Commerce. Vanek lives with his wife and four children in Dallas, where they are active members of Trinity Church.

Charles Henderson is the Chief Field Operations Officer of the American Diabetes Association (ADA). Charles joined the ADA in January 2020 after spending 24 plus years in for profit sectors and volunteering in the non-profit sector, Charles is passionate about spending the balance of his career in a space that will make a significant impact on lives. His professional skill set and success, coupled with his passion and desire to give back makes this a perfect time to lead a non-profit organization in the development area. Chuck is an astute executive skilled in building trusted & collegial working relationships, relationship selling/fundraising, driving productivity, leading and also supporting change-management initiatives. He has deep experience developing best-of-breed, solution selling leaders, who think as strategic business partners, with a culture of winning as a team and over delivering results. An expert in team building, fundraising/sales management, strategy & solution development, contract negotiation, execution, and C-suite client relationship building. A native Texan, Charles has a strong commitment to his family, community, and church. An avid golfer, Charles is also involved with his Alma mater, Texas A&M where he serves on boards and leverages his professional skills to raise money for the school in different capacities. Michael Boyle, MD, is president and chief executive officer. Prior to his appointment as president and CEO, Dr. Boyle served as senior vice president, therapeutics development at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation from 2015-2019. In that role, Dr. Boyle shaped the Foundation's clinical research strategy, overseeing the clinical development programs of new treatments for the CF Foundation, as well as the Foundation's Therapeutics Development Network of 92 academic research centers. Dr. Boyle is internationally known for his clinical research and for his work to improve care for adults with CF. He served as both an investigator in the clinical study of Kalydeco® and principal investigator of the pivotal trial that led to approval of the first combination treatment, Orkambi®. Dr. Boyle completed his medical training at Johns Hopkins University, including a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine, before joining the medical faculty in 1999. Dr. Boyle founded the Johns Hopkins University Adult CF Program -- one of the largest in the United States -- in 1999 and served as director of that center for close to two decades. Today, he is an adjunct professor of medicine at Johns Hopkins, where he continues to see patients. In addition to his medical background, Dr. Boyle has completed training in nonprofit management at both Johns Hopkins and Harvard University.
