The SLP will provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students with diverse needs, from preschool through high school, in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments, including articulation, phonology, fluency, voice, language (receptive and expressive), and social communication. Analyze assessment data to determine eligibility for special education services and develop appropriate IEP goals and objectives. Direct and Indirect Therapy: Provide individualized and small group speech and language therapy sessions using evidence-based practices. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals (e.g., occupational therapists, physical therapists, counselors) to develop and implement effective intervention plans. Provide consultation and support to teachers and parents on strategies to support student communication skills in the classroom and home environments.
