Dr. Frank Scholz is a Chief Operating Officer at NORTHSTAR MEDICAL RADIOISOTOPES LLC and Board Member at Ixion Auerbach and is based in Beloit, Wisconsin. He has worked as EVP, COO & Digital Innovation Officer at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals; Exec VP/Chief Operations & Digital Innovation Ofcr at Mallinckrodt; and Partner at McKinsey & Company. Frank attended Leibniz Universität Hannover between 1992 and 1995, University of Bielefeld between 2002 and 2006, and Georgetown University McDonough School of Business between 1995 and 1997.

Jim has more than 40 years of design and management experience in the areas of scientific development and business operations. His operational responsibilities have included leadership of laboratory operations in nuclear and mixed waste areas and environmental services. While involved in technology start-up companies, Jim has also been responsible for manufacturing, developing quality assurance programs for compliance to Nuclear Regulatory Commission and Department of Energy requirements, managing company activities to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, and managing major government contracts involving federal research and development programs. He also served as a commissioned officer in the US Air Force in control of ballistic missiles, and has invented or co-invented several patented technologies. Jim received a BS in Chemistry from the University of Virginia and a Ph.D. in Nuclear Chemistry from the University of Arkansas.
