Provide individual, family and group psychotherapy and counseling. Conduct intake evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans. Consult with and make referrals to clinical psychiatrist as clinically indicated. Current New York State license required as LMFT, LMHC, LMSW or LCSW. 1 Year clinical experience preferred. Bilingual skills preferred. Work includes aligning and assembling boiler frame tanks/vats from blueprints, supporting vessel testing, directing boiler/furnace cleaning, and inspecting/repairing boiler fittings and auxiliary equipment. Schedule/shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday-Friday Job Type: Full-time, 2-year contract Responsibilities Construct, assemble, maintain, and repair stationary steam boilers and boiler house auxiliaries. Align structures or plate sections to assemble boiler frame tanks or vats per blueprints. Use hand/power tools, plumb bobs, levels, wedges, dogs, and turnbuckles. Assist in testing assembled vessels. Direct cleaning of boilers and boiler furnaces. Inspect and repair boiler fittings (safety valves, regulators, automatic controls, water columns) and auxiliary machines. Qualifications At least 5 years of experience with stationary steam boilers and boiler house auxiliary systems. Ability to read blueprints and perform alignment/assembly work. Proficient with related hand/power tools and leveling/measuring equipment. The licensed psychologist position provides high quality of care to a diverse high acuity, outpatient population of children, adolescents and families in Upstate's Child and Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Services (CAIOS) program. The program is expanding to provide intensive services to families with younger children with severe emotional and behavioral dysregulation. The program utilizes evidence-based treatments (DBT - A, DBT-C, PMT, and ACT). The full-time clinician will conduct psychological assessments, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy and parent coaching. The psychologist will provide consultation and coordination of care with schools and outside providers as needed. The Psychologist will contribute to the teaching and supervision of trainees in Child Psychiatry and Psychology. Psychologist will attend yearly hospital-required performance evaluations and will maintain Continuing Education credits. The psychologist will work closely within a multi-disciplinary, multi-department setting that includes psychiatrist, psychologist, clinical social workers, pediatricians, nutritionist and nursing. Candidate must excel in providing patient centered care to support the patient's recovery. Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. or Psy.D. and NYS license (or eligible) Psychologist required but must receive license within 1 year of employment. *If currently unlicensed, a limited permit is required.
