The Opportunity The Clinical Dispatcher is a specialized position performing multi‐channel emergency and routine consultation assignment for multiple service lines. The company's Consult Coordination Center (CCC) is a “virtual hospital”, with both clinical and operational support teams dedicated to accelerating patient care. The CCC is responsible for receiving and prioritizing emergency and routine consultations from clinical facilities. Work is performed under general supervision by Shift Supervisor and CCC Core Program Manager. What You'll Work On Effectively communicate with hospital clinical staff and Access TeleCare physicians to ensure timely and efficient patient care Proficient in all CCC Coordinator duties. Effectively and efficiently manage incoming consultations through CCC consultation lifecycle workflows processes Interacts with clinical and operational teams to prioritize and assign requesting emergency/ non‐emergency consultations for multiple services lines. Uses established and approved protocols, workflows, and the computer‐aided dispatch system to evaluate the situation and take the appropriate actions. Test readiness of computer, cameras, and other related communications equipment. Monitors and maintains ques to quickly prioritize and assign consultations to meet or exceed SLAs. Demonstrate service excellence in meeting and exceeding all metrics outline on performance index scorecard. Exhibit a high degree of professionalism when interacting with the healthcare facilities, Physicians, co‐workers and supervisors. May be required to be on‐call, remain on duty after shift‐end and respond to emergency situations at any time. Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company polices to achieve the overall objective of the CCC and this position. Maintains a favorable, collaborative and professional working relationship with all departments to ensure efficient working environment to achieve company's mission. Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all issues or concerns and takes prompt corrective action where necessary. This role is responsible for facilitating departmental and organizational communication during operating and non-operating hours, handling both emergency and non-emergency operations. The Security Dispatcher also serves as the after-hours receptionist and radio “base” operator. Responsible for facilitating departmental and organizational communication during operating and non-operating hours; during emergency and non-emergency operations. Serves as after-hours receptionist and radio “base” operator. The schedule for this position is Wednesday through Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Responsibilities Communication and Coordination Operates two-way radio system, answering calls to "Security" or “Dispatch” from employees during and after regular operating hours and contacting appropriate individuals by radio, phone, or email as needed. Contacts internal and external emergency personnel as needed via a two-way radio system and phone and effectively dispatches to the correct location. Accurately responds to and records information from incoming telephone and radio calls. Assists and communicates with other Security staff on duty when special situations arise (e.g., special events, after-hours deliveries, Animal wellness). Monitoring and Reporting Operates access control system and maintains an accurate log of all personnel gaining access. Operates and monitors security cameras and reports unusual activities to Security Management. Enters and distributes incident, injury, and crash reports utilizing the Security Reports database. Completes and maintains daily dispatch logs, incident reports, worker's compensation documents, community service time sheets, first aid documents, Security management daily brief, and any other required paperwork. Emergency Response and Safety Demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of and actively participates in the Emergency Response Plan (ERP), and able to pass a semi-annual test on the ERP. Demonstrates a calm professional composure during emergencies and stressful situations. Attends to any employees or guests that are injured until medical personnel arrive using trained CPR, ERT, and AED CZFP practices. Always maintains confidentiality of sensitive information. Administrative and Support Duties Creates Year-Round and Seasonal Employee and Volunteer ID cards and accurately records the information.
