**Job Description:**
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded the Technical Support Services Contract 5 (T5) to Parsons as the prime contractor. This $1.8 billion+ contract has a 4-year base period with two 3-year options. The statement of work includes a variety of activities that support the FAA's Capital Investment Plan (CIP) modernization efforts: Site selection and engineering, construction, environmental and fire/life safety, equipment installation and testing, CAD, and other technical services as required. Work is performed across the nation in each of the FAA's nine regions as well as the Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and the Technical Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey and in several U.S. territories. An average staff of 400-500 with a peak staff over 650 supports this contract, in addition to those subcontractors who perform construction work.
**POSITION OVERVIEW:**
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Heavy Equipment Operator ** to join our team! In this role you will get to travel to various sites performing demolition work.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Perform local coordination of on-site work, working in a self-perform crew.
+ Perform cradle to grave operations for projects of relatively limited scope. Specifically focused on demolition activities.
+ Must be proficient in operating large excavators, backhoes, and skid steers.
+ Communicate with personnel in related activities to resolve problems and coordinate the work.
+ Maintain, operate and coordinate the use of heavy machinery as required to complete the demolition/restoration work at various sites.
+ Collaborate with construction management to eliminate any hazards associated with the work that may adversely affect the environment or the safety or health of employees. Ensures that personnel of the assigned group engage in safe work practices in compliance with site-specific safety procedures and industry standards.
+ 100% travel and ability to obtain or have a credit card which can be used to support reimbursable travel.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Candidate must demonstrate skills to maintain, operate and coordinate the use of heavy machinery (Excavator/Backhoe/Skid Steer)
+ May require repetitive movement such as lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, and standing.
+ The ideal candidate will have 5 plus years of experience operating heavy equipment
+ Ability to prepare and manage electronic expense reports.
+ Requires excellent communication skills and possess a familiarity with PC software packages typically associated with engineering and construction.
+ Must be able to obtain an active credit card.
+ It is preferred the candidate have approximately 5 plus years of related experience operating large construction equipment (Skid Steer and Excavator are a plus)
+ Possess a strong Safety/Quality background.
+ Must have the ability to interface with clients and enjoy being hands-on technically in the project.
+ Must have strong communication skills.
+ Must be able to meet customer security requirements. A background check by Federal Authorities will be performed.

Your Opportunity
We are seeking a Hydrogeologist to support our expanding business in Florida and throughout the Gulf Region. The position will also provide hydrogeology support to the Water Resources Business Line. This position is based out of Stantec's West Palm Beach office. The Hydrogeologist will report to a Hydrogeologist Team Leader and will be responsible for designing, supporting, and executing hydrogeological investigations for dewatering, water supply, and aquifer recharge studies for water supply clients. This candidate also will be responsible for leading a large capacity production well design and construction projects. The successful candidate should have a background in drilling groundwater production wells, familiar with deep injection well construction, ability to oversee and support groundwater flow modeling, field investigations, conduct aquifer performance tests, project management, and technical report writing. This position interacts with both internal and external clients in field and office settings. The position requires travel to sites, primarily in the central Florida area. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary for the position.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Follow safe work practices and adhere to company and client guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner.
- Develop new well designs for groundwater monitoring and groundwater production.
- Design field investigations in support of hydrogeology studies including drilling, well construction, and testing oversight; groundwater sampling; and water level monitoring.
- Prepare technical reports documenting field investigations and analytical results.
- Prepare and deliver presentations of hydrogeologic investigations to internal and external clients.
- Ability to mentor junior staff and provide input to improve hydrogeologic interpretations or client deliverables.
- Assist project managers with developing project budgets, determining project scope, and establishing project schedules.
- Excellent communication skills: verbal, business writing, electronic communications, and presentations (record of publications, project reports, and/or public presentations will be requested).
- Ability to work independently and provide a supervisory role in the field at remote sites.
- Must have a good driving record and valid Driver's License.
Education and Experience
- Minimum of an B.S. (M.S. preferred) in Hydrogeology/Geology/Geochemistry or related field is required.
- Experience and/or course work completed in geology, hydrogeology, and production well design and construction, and aquifer test analysis is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of working experience in consulting, mining or similar field requiring regularly using and analyzing hydrogeologic data.
- Existing professional registration in Florida or ability to work towards a professional registration (PG).

Site investigation/geotechnical drilling is done to determine the soil characteristics on sites to be developed as building, roadways and bridges. Work is outdoors. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded the Technical Support Services Contract 5 (T5) to Parsons as the prime contractor. This $1.8 billion+ contract has a 4-year base period with two 3-year options. The installation or repairs of any of a variety of electrical equipment such as transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, receptacles, or other transmission equipment, working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications, Locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment, Working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment, Using a variety of electrician's hand tools and measurement/test instruments. **Key Responsibilities**
**Project Execution:**
+ Prepare complex engineering deliverables for large or multiple projects
+ Assist in the research to develop equipment and material recommendations
+ Prepare complex engineering calculations following standard methods and principles
+ Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements across multiple disciplines

Your Key Responsibilities
Apply landscape design principles including site analysis, theming, schematic design, and design development.

Position Summary:
The Construction Inspector serves as the Owner's Representative on utility and infrastructure construction projects, ensuring quality workmanship, regulatory compliance, and adherence to design intent. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded the Technical Support Services Contract 5 (T5) to Parsons in April 2023. Parsons is the prime contractor. This $1.8+ billion contract has a 4-year base period with two 3-year options.
