Dell Medical School in conjunction with Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas (DCMCCT), is seeking Physician Assistants with cardiac critical care credentials to be part of the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to serve the growing need of the regional pediatric population, delivering world class pediatric cardiac critical care.
Responsibilities
Counsels and educates cardiac critical care patients and their families/ caregivers concerning health conditions, treatment options and community resources.
Documents delivery of cardiac critical health care and nursing processes in accordance with care standards and network nursing policy.
Participates in orientation and education of staff and students.
Obtains cardiac critical care patient history and performs assessment via observation, interview and examination.
Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic studies for cardiac critical care patients. Performs health assessments, screening, and patient care.
Provides direct treatment and management of cardiac critical care conditions via prescriptive authority or referral to other healthcare providers or community resources. Engages in discharge planning.
Other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Physician's Assistant or Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing. Licensed Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner with Prescriptive Authority specializing in Cardiac Critical Care. Credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing in Acute Care nursing. Experience in caring for children with complex congenital and acquired heart disease in a Pediatric and Congenital Cardiac Critical Care Unit. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work efficiently and flexibly in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance. Ability to address individuals and information with a high degree of sensitivity and confidentiality in various situations. Capacity to work well with physicians and other care providers as part of a multi-disciplinary healthcare delivery team.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) - Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery
The Driscoll Health System is looking for a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to join our established Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery clinic. This role is open to new PA graduates, and no prior orthopedic experience is required, though it is preferred. A Texas license must be in place before the start date.
About the Role
This provider will work closely with our orthopedic surgeons to support the diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care of pediatric patients. Responsibilities include obtaining and documenting patient histories, performing assessments, and participating in the development and implementation of care plans. The APP will assist with or perform orthopedic castings and limited procedures within the scope of approved privileges. Travel to our satellite clinics is part of the role.
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with limited weekend call.

As an Advanced Practice Provider at Arroyo Vista Family Medicine, you are an integral part of the patient care team providing quality, preventive-focused health care services to patients. Print all Data Assessment Plan (DAP) notes and place in child's file within 24 hours of visit
STAFF DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING
The Home Visiting Service Provider will provide the necessary support, training, and guidance in their provision of services to the families served. The Home Visiting Service Provider must also comply with all mandatory trainings identified by the Early Childhood Education and Care Department (ECECD) as well trainings mandated by their respective supervisor(s) and/or company by adhering to the following:
Consulting and providing in-house trainings to other staff members

Attending mandatory staff meetings and trainings
Completing professional development self-assessment to help identify strengths and areas where additional training and support are needed

SUPERVISION
All Home Visiting Service Providers, including sub-contractors must receive reflective supervision at least two times a month.

The Advanced Practice Provider will function as an independent healthcare provider and will deliver comprehensive care to both ill and well children. Responsibilities will include assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, and coordination of care for patients and families.
